hi ladies, i was sterrilissed 4 5 yrs ago now at aged 32 me n my dh would like a child of our own.. we have just had our screening at one of cares clinics and was wondering if the chances were better for us this way plese? my fsh readings are 5.5 starting treatment injections in 6 wks time! fingers crossed!!! good luck to all the other couples too.. babydust to all.love mel.xxxx

Hi Mel, you might want to join the November buddies on the General Forum as you'll be cycling at the same time as them. Always good to chat with others waiting + preparing for tmt.

The fact you're sterilised means one major positive. You know WHY you're not able to conceive naturally which is usually a source of waiting / testing / frustration for others. I was also sterlised (as was at least one other person on here), I hadn't ever been pregnant but we were still first time lucky with IVF.

hi mel
i too was sterelised. i had 4 children by my first husband, and was sterlised after that.
without boring you, we ended and i met someone elce who had no children, we got pregnant on our 2nd attempt at ivf,
we have 4 embies and go to our clinic to discuss fet on 10/10
hope this shows you theres always hope and even for us oldies, im now 42.
