Hi you three,

Thanks Woppa for letting me know this was back up (well, just about).

Traci - I've just had to cancel my treatment cycle because of raised FSH levels (9.7) - not massively high, but enough to say I may respond even worse than I normally do (got 5 eggs both times). We're pretty gutted but I've gone on Agnus Castus straight away and doing some intensive chinese medicine and acupuncture and the 3 weeks will fly by hopefully. I'm confused, I thought you said you'd decided not to cycle til September because of your holiday? Just ask away, I'll keep popping in and will try to help if I can.

Hello again to everyone else I haven't spoken to on FF.

Lots of Love

Fiona xxx

At the moment Im having a pretty crap day and am I glad that this site is on! I have just had my results back from the docs and they are higher than before and they all come from the poturity gland , I wander if something is wrong ? so I have just rung the clinic and the nurse said to repeat the test which will be in the next 2-3 days and we will see whether or not to not worry about flying and go for it in June anyway! My time might be running out quickly , I have to wait till wednesday to find out more!

Hi Traci,

I know its hard (only last week I was thinking the same as you) but don't presume things based on one months tests. I know for sure that FSH levels can vary dramatically between one test and another (even in days) and 12 is not that high - I've read a level of '40' for FSH for someone who still went on to get pg from IVF treatment.

Now a question - do you sit at a PC all day? Do you ever have neck ache? Tense muscles in the neck can sometimes affect the pituatory gland (at the base of the spine) so get your dh to give you a 'gentle' neck and shoulder massage every night to relax these. That coupled with the Agnus Castus may just help to regulate things - it isn't the end of the world. As I said on the other thread - it could just be your body recovering from drugs of the recent IVF cycle.

I'm here for you, so keep posting.

Love Fiona xxx

Hey there
Having read your last two messages, I notice that you are talking about the petuitary gland - I have been having reflexology which helps regulate this gland - the pressure point is in the middle of your big toe (underside!) Might be worth looking into having some treatments.
Good luck
Lissa
x
