Smita, thanks so much for bringing the thread back.

Dear Chitra,

I hope you are feeling better now, both emotionally and physically. I had exactly the same experience just a few days ago.

My first bld test went positive, making DH and me so happy. I even started guessing whether I would get twins or triplets. But it went to -ve after 1 week on 29th Sep. To make the thing worse, DH was travelling overseas and I had to swallow it alone. I cried for days. Then I decided to go out and get some sunshine. Only to find out how deep the hurt is - i was even weeping while driving....

But think positive. Maybe it's because we are not ready yet at that moment and baby angels just came and told us, "hi, mummy, see, you can do it. Keep trying and don't give up..."

Now, I am waiting for next cycle. This time, DH, who is a chain-smoker for decades decided to quit smoking, I will quit coffee and tea from now on. We will pay close attention to the diet and supplement nutrition... All of those, we ignored in our first go and were told by the baby angel we should do for next baby to come.

So to some extent, it might be a bless in disguise.

Did you discuss with your doc what's the possible reason to cause this chemical pregancy? I will meet with my doc this friday. Willl share with you the outcome later.

During the 2nd week of 2ww, I felt pain in my lower abdomen every morning, something like a loose bowel. And at week 5, I felt severe pain in my left ovary, which only vanished after the period arrived. Did you feel anything fishy?

Take care!
Me: 33 DH:38
1st IVF/ICSI: Sep 05 (+ve followed by m/c at Wk5, proven to be chemical pregancy)
Now waiting for next try

Dear Chitra,

My heart is with you, my tears is in my eyes. I can feel your pain. You take good care of yourself. Your baby will be coming sooner or later.

I'll pray for you.

Love,
May
