Hi Angela,<br><br>Sorry the clomid didn't work for you this time - maybe next month - fingers crossed for you. IUI is relatively simple, you can have a natural cycle where they just monitor you and when you have your LH surge they inseminate you. It's a bit like precision shagging - getting everything at the right place at the right time!!<br><br>Most likely though they give you drugs to stimulate your follicles. I was told to phone on day 1 of AF and then i have an injection on day 3 and alternate days after. This is FSH which is a hormone already in our body. They may also ask you to take Clomid on day 2-6. Then you either use an ovulation kit to find out when you are ovulating or you can take profasi 24-36 hours before you ov (profasi aids ovulation). I don't know if your clinic will be the same but from what i've heard this seems to be fairly normal.<br><br>I hope this is helpful to you - i'm a bit of a muppet when it comes to drugs and tmt etc but it doesn't seem too bad. Don't know if i want DH injecting me though!! They will also wash and prepare your partners sperm - this just gets rid of any ropey ones!!
