Scan Update!

Post by Sarah30 »

Yeeeeee Haaaaaaaaaaaaa

I phoned the clinic this morning and they've agreed to give me a scan next Friday, will be 7 weeks by then. Am so relieved!!! She said she didn't want to do it any earlier because they wouldn't see the fetal heart and that would make me worry even more! There's still a risk we won't see it, but I'm willing to try.

They're also taking me off the gestone injections and changing it to Clinone which is a Gel pessary (not messy like cyclogest, all the gel gets absorbed). It's alot more expensive apparently but she's going to swap them over free and charge and do my scan free of charge!! It must be my lucky day!!

Am on top of the world now!

Sarah x

Hi Sah
Its your lucky day and you deserve it!!!
Fantastic - what a nice doctor.
I'll bet you'll miss the cyclogest (NOT!)
Had a close call yesterday as I suddenly got a nasty bout of bloody cystitis! By last night was doing overtime running to the loo every five minutes. Luckily called my Dr and she gave me an antibiotic. Was worried would have to stop the cycle but clinic said okay. Phew!
Feeling much better today.
lol
Lissa
x

Lissa - what a worry, am glad it's not going to affect your cycle! How did that start then? I've never had that but have heard it's horrid and painful. Poor you, hope it clears up quickly mate.

Aileen - am hoping will be able to see heartbeat - will really settle my mind. I'll be 6 weeks this friday and don't have any symptoms at all - I think that's partly why I'm so worried. Did you have symptoms at the stage can you remember? Not long till your next scan then - you must be excited.

Sarah x
