Congratulations, Jessica :) Twins! Can you believe it. Best of luck to you, DH and the two little ones.

I dont' know about the exact percentages for twins. I didn't discuss this with my doctor, because we only have one. I am sure your doctor could help you out with this or one of the ladies that has or has had twins.

Congrats again!

Congratulations, Jessica! WoW, twins! Double fun and Double joy! Enjoy!

As for the progesterone questions, I called my Doctor's office today. My doctor wasn't in, so the nurse answered my questions.

She says, first of all, they use progesterone all the time, they are very careful with the drugs, and they wouldn't use it if it's harmful. They use progesterone on all the patients to prevent miscarriage even on the patients who have normal progesterone level, she says, it's better safe than sorry. As for the increased risk of minor birth, she says, the progesterone we are using is natural progesterone from natural source, yams, it's absolutely no side effect. The kind with side effects is manufactured in a laboratory which we don't use. They have never seen any birth defect case.

Since they are one of the top fertility clinics in the US, they perform over a thousand IVF procedures a year, I'm gona trust them on this one.

Take care everybody,
May

Congratulations everyone!!
So many twins. Wow!!

Thanks for the update on the progesterine shots. I only have three shots left. Since Mid August, I've had a least one shot a day (except for retrevial day). Whatever will DH and I do everynight at 8pm instead of stick a big needle in my bottom?!

Have a wonderful day ladies!!

Hi mia,

how are you doing? Still doing the hpt's? I have bought 19 so far, havent used them all yet. was relieved to see that todays was quite a bit darker than yesterdays. I wonder when the worrying stops, or if it ever will.

Take care

hi guys..... i just had a tip for the shots in the bum... take a warm to hot washcloth and place it over the shot area right after you get the shot.... it warms the oil and muscle.... less aches, and less bumps... it really helped!!

good luck all
