Hi All- Thank you for all the well wishing, I am still wishing luck to all of us...........

Well, 2 of my 5 day embies are now settling is at Chez Uterus as Lola likes to call it- thanks for the chuckle by the way! 2 embies are now snow babies and 2 more are still trying to decide if they want to join the others in the deep freeze. (they are still in the running). I am so very thankful for these results- out of 8 fertilized eggs, I could possibly end up with 6 embies- but still, 4 is great! Trying not to be greedy :) I had the 5 day transfer today and now begins the longest 8 days of my life! I wish there were a drug I could take to go into a deep sleep until the results are in.

Nes- we can wait and drive ourselves crazy together!

Steph

Steph, well done on ET. 8 days of waiting sounds like a pretty good deal to me (sulking because mine is 15!!). If you want to post me your test date, I'll add it to the October Test Dates thread.

*****Within the next 10 days or so, the later October tmt people will start to have Nov test dates. Some of you will also test in Nov. Is someone willing to start and run the 'November Test Date' thread? it's traditionally done by someone testing in that month. The other responsibility is to post the 'good luck' threads for each person a few days before they test. Thanks.

Hello Oct Buddies

How's everyone going? Its been a bit quiet lately.

Steph - Good luck! Think Foetal Pritt Stick. (do you have Pritt Stick in US)
Leigh - how did your scan go? Everything ok?

I've been deregging for a week and had my first hot flush today. I am also paranoid I'm getting hairier.... please no.... I have dread I'll look like Magnum PI by the time I get to EC. Will be sure not to wear a hawaiian shirt in case I get mistaken for him on way in.

Dont know if it's the meds but I was a horned, (moustachioed?) firebreathing monster at work today. Damage control (and a bic razor?) tomorrow for me.

Right I'm off. DH has made treacle pudding with cream - sorry Zita, I'll stick a folic acid tab and a primrose oil capsule in to compensate.

Love and luck and positive va va voom to Rocktober Buddies

Hello buddies......

Well I am still stimming until Friday morning and then we take it from there. It may be my last scan as they have scheduled EC for Saturday or Sunday (depending on the outcome of the scan).
Getting a little nervous now, but trying to remain as calm and collected as humanly possible.
I think that all this PMA is really exhausting me ;-)... I can't seem to sleep well either.

Waiting for DH to return home on Friday.... as he has been abroad for over a week now...

Thanks for all being there as I know I can come talk to you when I'm feeling lonely. :D

Camilla - I trust that you are okay and feeling better. LOTS of happy thoughts to you! Thanks for the info for the Aspirin....apparently, the doctor will only give me them after the EC. From what I have read on the internet, there seems to be different schools of thought concerning Aspirin. Yeah, not stressing about the pee colour.... it has to be the Vitamins...they should mention it at least on the bottle!

Nes - I hope all is well with you.... lots of PMA...hope all your signs are for a BFP ;-)

Anna - Congrats on the number of eggs fertilised... that's wonderful! Grow, grow, grow ;-)

Steph - Rest well...food at Chez Uterus is top notch.... embies won't want to leave ;-)

Lola - Positive thoughts right back at you!

Hugs to everyone!

Hi Buddies,

I will keep this short as I wrote a really long message asking after all of you and managed to delete it before I posted it!!

Basically, hope every one is OK. I heard from the clinic this morning and all 9 embies survived the night :D They are all at the 2-4 cell stage which is really great. We get a phone call tomorrow morning to find out if ET is tomorrow or if we will get to Saturday with blastocysts!! :D

I am missing them (crazy or what??) but I would like to get to Saturday for ET.

Anyway, haven't got enough time to write a long message again so keep in touch and good luck everyone.

Anna

9 - wow that's fantastic, that's a really good number.

I will keep everything crossed that you can go for a blastocyst transfer.

Take care and get plenty of rest while you can.

Hi buddies!

Am going a bit crazy. Terrible with the waiting game. I have until Wed. the 19th- seems like ages away. ( I know an 8 day wait is shorter than most and shouldn't complain) I found out yesterday that my 2 embies that were waiting it out, didn't make it to blast. :( I feel sad that I lost 2, but still excited for the 2 to freeze.) I think all the hormones coursing through my body are angry today, as I feel very grumpy. Sometimes their happy, sometimes their sad, now their mad- moody little things! He, he.

Advice needed- I am getting my test results on Wed. I am supposed to be at a conference about an hour and a half away from home. It is very important for my job, but very worried about getting bad results away from home w/out DH to calm me down. Should I try to get out of the conference? Or the other option is to have clinic call my hubby and he can tell me when I get home that evening (if I can make the car ride without calling him  ) I was really wishing we could find out together.

Debra- test date above as you can see- thanks!

Lola- Foetal Pritt Stick? not something I am familiar with.... Info please anyone? P.S.- Glorify in your hairy self- go for the hawaiian shirt and the little shorts! thanks for the laugh.

little R- good luck with EC!!

Anna- good luck with ET!! your comment about missing them- I understand completely, not crazy. I missed them and was very sad when my 2 didn't make it to blast that almost did. I was really pulling for them. It is so hard to think of them as cells or embryos... atleast for me- anyone else? Trying so hard not to think of them as "babies" for now.

Nes- how is your waiting going? Any tips?

Hello everyone

Little R - Good luck with your EC. Just think of the possibilities!

Anna - Good luck to you with your ET. Keep the positive thoughts flowing.

Debra - I don't mind doing the Nov test dates (what have I let myself in for!).

Well I had my third scan this morning and although I'm still not switched off yet (which I knew coz waiting for AF) am fine coz fairly confident that by next week all will be OK. The nurse said that if possible I can start my stims on same day as scan which would be great. Can't wait to get to next stage. Then I'll be able to have some dates!

Hope everyone is happy today. Here comes the PMA bzzzzz. :)

Love

Hi everyone

Hope you're all chirpy today.
I am not. I am the opposite. I am unchirpy. I am an idiot. And a witch
Image
I feel really sorry for my self this afternoon, think the evil hormones have taken over the ship, torched the PMA and thrown logic and sanity over the side to drown like spluttering non swimmers, mutineering turn coats. And this is the easy couple of weeks! I feel like I'm a joke. I spend so much time making other people feel comfortable that they are preg, have children, WHATEVER, so much time making jokes about my situation to make sure no one feels sorry for me or wierd. Can't anyone even guess that I might be having a really hard time with all of this? I have a stack of friends but I feel really lonely with this. I know I'm being crap. I am embracing my crapality today! I wear my loserness with pride.
Sorry about that. Normal service will hopefully resume tomorrow.

Steph - Dont go to conference. If it were me I wouldn't be able to concentrate anyway and I'd be so wound up I'd end up saying something Tourettesy - not bueno.
Anna and Little R - good luck!!
Nes - hows the waiting game going??
Debra - thanks for organising us - not long now!!!
Camilla - looks like we may have similar cycle:wink:
Walshy - how was your USS on monday?
Stephanie, Jeni, Leigh - what are you guys up to cycle wise? Nosiness - can I blame that on hormones too?

Well, I've stopped snivelling like a maniac now - thank you buddies!!

Love and luck and dream-making occurences Octobies!

Hello all you lovely ladies,

Sorry I haven't been in touch recently. I've been checking in from time to time (being nosy), and feeling slightly sorry for myself as I have nothing to report.

Lola, you're very much allowed to feel crap whenever you like - everyone has good days and bad days. You're not a witch - you're an absolute star for keeping us all smiling all the time. You'll feel better tomorrow, just hang on in there :)

On Tuesday I had a scan and blood test to check that DR had worked. It hadn't. Went back for another test today and still no luck :x

So, Camilla, I'm with you - stuck in limbo land. I really wish I could progress to the next stage and start stimming - I just want to get it all over and done with - it's very frustrating - I've got a fridge full of drugs and cabinet full of needles and I can't use them - I never thought I'd look forward to injecting myself - bizarre!

Oh well, Camilla, hopefully we can both get started next week, although I still haven't had any hot flushes. I'm booked for another blood test on Sunday, so fingers crossed. They've also now upped my nasal spray from 2 sniffs every 8 hours to 2 sniffs every 6 hours, so I now get to scare my DH with all sorts of scary snorting noises in the middle of the night :P

Well I'd better go and sniff some more...

Lots of love to everyone

Hi everyone.

Lola - Sorry to hear you are not feeling great! Hoping tomorrow is better. But in case not, feel free to talk to us here.

Little R - Good luck with EC. Let us know how it goes.

Camilla, Jeni - Hopefully the wait is not much longer for you both.

Anna - 9 is GREAT! Good luck with ET and the 2ww.

Leigh - How are you doing with stimming?

Nes - Sending lots of baby dust!

As for me, I am still DRing. Today was day 7 so I still have a few days left. No real side effects to speak of other than a little teary here and there and some slight headaches. I am thinking AF will arrive in a couple of days, can feel it. So, I am just waiting patiently.

Well, I am not very talktative tonight, so I will check back tomorrow.

PMA to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
