That is so true im trying to be calm reading all my books again i also have the zita west book, trying to be really healthy eating loads of fruit and drinking lots of water. Ijust feel so unsocible and have been for months i just don't want everyone knowing whats going on so im keeping my head down for awhile im going to get the sex and the city box set for my 2ww

Hi Mrs B,

I know how you feel about keeping your head down - I didn't tell anyone (except 2 close friends who don't live locally) the first time round and found that while it worked for me, I wasn't very good and acting normal so i avoided everyone (including family) as much as possible. I didn't even feel like chatting on the phone because it all felt like idle chit chat and purposeless. It was only my Mum who noticed really (she didn't have a clue about any of our issues or the IVF) and thought I was having marriage problems!!!!

I love the idea about Sex and the City.....I may have to think of a similar treat for myself!

I know what you mean about the phone its so true what you said i get text messages and i don't reply and then i whinge about feelong lonely. its just such a rollacoaster always having to worry are my egss going to be ok will they fertilse will i respond to the drugs and then everyone around you is falling pregnant ( sorry had a bit of a rant there) any way im going to do my daily exercise take my little dog for a walk to the park be back soon

Not good on cut and pasting so I've done this by quoting, hope it works.

BTW - Have got the Zita West today and it's terrifying - I can never be that "good". It's left me quite depressed. And....Is she really right that I shouldn't be running now? I've been running for over a year, since I gave up smoking. I intended to stop running for EC but not yet. I thought this was good for me!

Oh - and I find drinking loads of water really easy because my head is splitting and it is the only thing that helps! I have never been any good at drinking water before. I am hoping that I will get glorious skin but no sign of that yet!

Sorry iam a computer dummy not to sure what im doing and why no one else came up on my list, i was worried when i read the zita west book aswell so mush to take in and try and remember the only exercise im doing is walking. what vitamins is everyone taking? im taking one pregnacy one and a dose of efas and eating loads of fruit should i be taking anything else?

Don't worry Mrs B - all put right again. Don't stress about food, vits etc - stress can be really bad for the process - so just chill and don't fret - you'll do fab xx

Dont worry too much about the preparations-Zita just tells you the ideal way I think- not that we all can aspire to such high standards..

Personally, If you've been running, i dont see how that shd affect your tmt.. just check with your doctor- I was told to give up everything(strenuous exercises) prior to EC.

And you all can try and detox for a few days if possible..but not if you've started down regging..

Think I am going to be joining you in the 'lonely without DH club'.......DH just called to say that he has to go to Singapore with work from 4th to 13th November

That means he will be away for most of the daily injections!!!!! Do you think he planned it!! It also means he only arrives back the day before ER! Surely I wasn't that moody last time.....?

Oh Well, at least it isn't the week of ER.....
