Finally here the 2ww had ET today

Hi Everyone Oh well the time has finally come when I get to experience a lot of what you have all been going on about and that is the two week wait. Everything went well today, I has been having some pains in my stomach but she explained that this would be down to my ovaries etc... It wasn't as bad as I expected having them put back, they even showed us our little embies on the monitor which was lovely to see. The nurses was brill they even spoke to them before they went in and here I was thinking about it and they bet me to it. They say that mine are at cell 2?? and said that was good?? I have been advised to carry on taking Aspirin/Folic Acid/Drinking plenty of water, but been advised that I can't take a bath for 7 days or go swimming for 7 days so there we have it. Liz I am glad everything went well with your ET let me know how things continue to progress. And Donna hope yours went well too, if I am right I think we should all be testing on the 15th May. Glad things went well for you today mate. You must now relax and take it easy, but at the same time try to just carry on as normal. Time will go quicker this way! I've missed talking to you this week! We must catch up soon. I have my 11 day scan in the morning. I will email you what happens. I think that things have calmed down as i'm not half as tender as i was. Have a good weekend! Lots of love Vicki

hi we where in the chat room the other day together i had my ec on monday and et on wednesday all went ok felt quite rough on tuesday though don't think i drank enough when i came home.they never said anything about having a bath. did they tell you not to.hope everything go's ok for you.i think the next two weeks are going to be the slowist in history.my 1st icsi. good luck cathxx

Hi Cath Yeah they told me I couldn't have a bath they said only to shower and this was for 7 days I couldn't go swimming either. How do you think your doing? Take Care Love Shell. xx

Hi Shell Just wanted to say good luck with your 2ww, hope it doesn't drag too much, you would think we would be used to the waiting after years of trying and waiting but it never get's any easier does it. Take it easy and make sure you get looked after. Speak to you soon Jackie
