Is it normal...

Post by misshannah0726 »

Is it normal to not bleed after a transfer? The embryos were transfered on Saturday, however I have not had any bleeding yet. I was told their may be bleeding because of the embryo's attaching, however I haven't experienced any of that. Is that good or bad? Has anyone had an IVF and can help me out??? :?:

Hi, the only (good) bleeding that might happen is part of implantation which happens - roughly - day 8 after fertilisation. It's usually more like spotting but.....I've had 3 +ve rounds of IVF and never had any spotting at all. Having been on here nearly 2years, I'd say spotting was actually quite unusual. Having said that, some people have heavier bleeding vs. spotting during their 2ww and still go on to have a +ve result.
