Surrogacy

Hello! I am new here and just had a 5 day transfer on Saturday (2 embryos). Does anyone know if there is a forum for surrogates? The first couple days I had a sharp pain, but I guess it's normal, so I'm fine. The pain is pretty much gone today. I find myself very emotional last night and this morning. I dropped my daughter off this afternoon after her pre-school and my mom had lunch prepared for me to bring to work - I cried like a baby! I'm tired, but I'm thinking it could be because of a cold I have. We have a pregnancy test on the 19th. I guess I'm looking for any advice or suggestions. Thanks ladies!!!

are you a surrogate? if so you are a very kind and loving caring person.
if you are taking meds , it is hard to say what is from the meds and what is from being pregnant..

welcome to the board. there should be a 2 wk thread you could post there.
the 2 wk is very hard!!!!!!!!!

Hope that I can be of some help..I wasn't sure if you are a surrogate or if your thinking about surrogacy if your own cycle doesn't work this time around..

I have been through surrogacy myself, the result being our beautiful boy/girl twins who are almost 2 yrs old, with the help of a very special friend who helped us have them..

Please contact me if you would like any advice or support, if you are a surrogate I can also point you in the direction on many support groups who would help you along the way..

Hi im due to test Sunday, im trying host surrogacy to help my friends, who cant carry a child.
I will just carry their biological child then give it back to its mummy and daddy.
Had another bfn this morning so not very hopeful though !!!

hiya Heidi..

Firstly, what a wonderful friend you are to do this for your friends, you are giving them so much hope...

Our twins were the result of host surrogacy too and you are looking at it just as our surrogate did too, she was looking after them until it was time for them to meet their mummy and daddy...

Hold on tight heidi, there is still time for things to change, you may have late implanter in there and if that's the case, sometimes the HCG doesn't show up until day 14-16 and I do know of a surrogate this happened too...

Was this your first try, if your unsucessful this time will you all try again and where are you having your treatment, sorry im being nosey, hope that you don't mind...also are you with a UK organisation or are you doing this independantly..

I am the host surrogate for some friends out of state. I heard some women of taking a at home pregnancy test before their scheduled hcg test, so I actually posted a poll to see how many women tried it and it came out right/wrong.
