Until I read your post I hadn't realised how many there are of us here - it's a good crowd isn't it?
Still getting the bubbles/flutterings but no kicks as yet - I do keep poking down there though just in case
How long do you have to wait until you can see DH again - I can't begin to understand how hard this is for you. Just remember whenever you feel down, just put your hand on your tummy and that way you can be a little closer to DH
Thanks Smita - I did find it a lovely moment and am counting the days until my 20 week scan (can't wait to know the sex). You're very good with writing to everyone - I'm goiing to start doing that when I'm not so busy with work. Lots of love and hugs to all
Cherylxx
(P.S - Did I understand right that Kim's worried she's not big enough? You lucky thing Kim - bet you'll get your pre-pregnancy figure back in the snap of a finger and I'm sure everything's great - I know a few other lucky people who had tiny bumps - beautifully healthy - normal weight babies and looked like they hadn't even had a child within a week of labour!! Don't worryxx)
Third ICSI July 2005 BFP and praying it continues!! 6, 8, 12, 13(Nuchal) 20, 25 and 28 week scans successful! Emily Ann Cane born 8.4.06 - more beautiful than we could have imagined

I shall keep everything crossed that the doctor gives you that all clear and you can get some quality time with DH. After all that water you've been drinking you deserve a break!!
Take care won't you.
Cheryl
Have you got your 20 week scan date yet? Do you have suspicions as to whether it's a girl or a boy? There are some old wives tales about "this means boy and that means girl" on the website which are very amusing if you feel like passing the time!!!
Hi All,
Things with my DD have settled now and she couldn't be happier, so I am more relieved now.
I have started buying for my hospital bag now! I've got all my toiletries and nighties etc so just need bubs things now and thats that sorted.
Bubs has gone from being a champion footballer to a lazy sleeper. I hardly felt him move at all in the last few days, and my bump has shrunk! I was really worried but it turns out bubs has just turned round so his feet are in my back and not my tummy, so I can feel him move sometimes but not kick, and my tum looks smaller.
Smita - Glad you're OK with all thats going on near you. When is your next scan?
Cant believe I'll be in the 3rd tri soon. Its gone so fast!
Hope your all OK.

Little P and Smita - Thanks for your reassurrances re 'bump size'! I am wondering if it is mainly what clothes I wear. If im in my work maternity clothes or even these maternity jeans I have, they tend to pull me in a bit more. Actually started to feel a lot bigger the last couple of days, so not too worried. I think im just sensitive to what other people say about pregnancy (Maybe like anything, we compare ourselves to everyone else-dread to think what ill be like when im actually a mum!!). It is exciting when you start getting the kicks. The baby is more active now and the kicks can sometimes hurt! Still makes me smile everytime I feel it though!
Little P - Feeling quite good at the moment, although getting up more during the night to use the loo! Nothing much ready yet! Not as organised as Susie! Keep enjoying the flutters!
Smita - Havent started Aquanatel yet, hopefully next week. As far as feeling kicks - the first thing I felt was a very light prodding/tapping at 18 wks, but then it was just the tickling/crawling sensation for a little while. I tend to feel the kicks mainly on my left side now I can feel them. Hope you get to go to see DH, that would be lovely for you.
Cheryl - Thanks Cheryl - it would be wonderful if I could get back to pre pregnancy weight soon after. I bet after saying all this now, ill suddenly expand and be complaining im huge! Not complaining yet though! I love my bump! Good luck with your 20 week scan, hope they can tell you the sex if you want to know!
Susie - Glad your DD is doing ok. You are organised arent you? I cant wait to start shopping, but still feel so many other things to sort first (with the house) so still waiting a bit longer! Did buy a couple of baby clothes in a Next discount store (couldnt resist - got a coat for £2!! Its gorgeous!)
Has everyone seen pictures of Tom Cruise's fiancee Katie Holmes recently? She is supposed to be 3 months pg, but im sure she must be more! (There goes me and my size of bump obsession again!)
Take care all.
Love Kim

I saw a good friend yesterday and showed her my bump and she couldn't believe the size of it. I'm usually quite a small person so my bump is very noticeable. My Midwife said that some people have an early growth spurt then nothing for ages, and others just have continuous steady growth throughout. Seems we're all different hey!!!
Smita -
I am still at work, although it has been quite stressful lately. The owners do not get along and they are making sure to make everyone's life miserable. The thing that keeps me going is knowing that I am going to quit before baby arrives - probably Dec. or Jan. depending how crazy things get here. I try not to stress out too much here, but some days have been quite difficult. Thank goodness DH has been a strong support. I could not have done it without him.
Kim -
I am carrying small and my OB even suggested an additional scan at 24 weeks since I was not measuring where I should be. Needless to say, I was scared and nervous. Had my scan and everything is A-OK. Our baby is right on schedule and the technician said that some people just carry small - whew. Then a day after the scan, my belly had a little pop so I guess I am going to grow in spurts. Hope you are enjoying the final weeks of 2nd trimester. I am sure we will all get pretty big in the 3rd.
Joy -
Welcome to the 2nd trimester. Some call it the "honeymoon" phase because you really get your energy back and feel good. Enjoy.
I have been a bit tired lately, must be the cooler weather and the fact that I'M PREGNANT! We started lamaze classes this week. They have been very helpful so far, still a bit more to go. My boss is giving me hassle for needing time off for the classes and he also said that I should be ok to work more in December since I am carrying smaller. Needless to say, I am sooo close to leaving here. How can people be so unfeeling? Well thanks for listening and have a great weekend.

Sher,
What an insensitive boss- I've noticed most people on these boards don't have bosses understanding of infertility or the need for tmt- wonder if they ever had babies or soemthing...I hope they stop fighting soon so you can have a stress free atmosphere!Take care..
LP,
Not seen you all of today.. are you ok? I've noticed that Lil un is more active at around 7.30-9 pm our time..i feel more of those taps!
Wonder if having had dinner at that time makes a difference.but boy, is this reassuring.
Kim,
you're right abt Katie Holmes bump.. but maybe cause shes thinnish, she shows more huh?
Susie,
That image of your baby turning inwards was so amazing to imagine.. and reassuring too..
Cheryl, Jacs,
hope you girls are ok..
Gavin,

Have a nice weekend all!!

Oh, big hugs - I can begin to understand what you are going through. I do sympathise and send loads of cyber hugs.
It's little wonder you're feeling down with DH not feeling well - not only are you missing, but believe me those hormones do play a big role in our emotions at the moment don't they?
Do take care of yourself and remember we're all here for you. Not long until you see the baby again is it?
oh you're online as well
thanks for the cheery words..it sure helps..
feb 22 seems sooo far off.. but the taps and flutters are wonderful- abt the only bright things in my life now..
