Hi All,
Thought I'd let you know we got a BFN
. We are both gutted and feeling totally exhausted. DH and I have been for a long walk on the beach and spent the afternoon putting the world to rights. Were going to have abit of a break, enjoy life together, and then try another cycle of ICSI in the spring (we only have one embie left frozen and I can't face all the build up for it not to defrost).
Sarah, I hope your transfer went well and those little embroys are getting on with dividing and implanting....

Hi there tg, so sorry you got a -ve. Taking a break is such a good idea. The intensity and stress of tmt can't be exaggerated. Being yourselves again and enjoying a normal life can only do you both good.
When you're ready, you know where we are. The monthly tmt threads normally appear about 2m in advance so it's never too early to pop on and see who you'll be able to chat with next time.
Be kind to yourself, a BFN is a horrible shock.

Just had my ET - all went smoothly ........fingers crossed! I have absolutely no cares who looks at what now!
We had 9 embies but sadly looks like no frosties.......will know for sure next week - the 2 embies we had reached 8 cells each - the others less........
Tg - Keep trying - I am sure a break is a good idea.....now I know what it involves.....how soon can you try again? Best of luck next time!

Sue - Thanks for good wishes. I really do hope my turn is next, myself and DH really want this to work just like everyone else. Not sure if its strenght or shock. I just hope my awaiting embies are ok as they are not so good grade as the 2 I have just used.

Lots of people have been successful with embies their clinic thought were not perfect, so you never know!!! Hopefully because the fet is less invasive it will work for you. Will be keeping everything crossed.

I am still feeling rather fragile from the EC on Wed - having an active puppy is proving rather a challenge!! DH is being rushed of his feet now!........

Sue E - Hope your doing ok... thanks for good wishes, like you say FET is less inavasive, don't really know much about it as yet, have just started reading up on it, didn't think you would still have to take so many drugs.
Sarah J - Hope your ET goes well, fingers crossed for you. also enjoy being waited on while you can, my DH was fab all the way threw our treatment and 2ww bless them eh..
