Thanks ladies, you all ROCK!!

Tiger, 26 sleeps doesn't sound like long at all....probably an eternity to you. I will do a little AF dance for both you and MissMolly (it's an ancient chick thing) and hope that she shows her head for both of you.

Sorry about the neck Belinda, you should go and see a rehabilitation consultant!! Just kidding, there is nothing worse than a sore neck, you don't realise how much of your movement involves your neck until you hurt it. Take some good muscle relaxants and try to rest. Hope it gets better soon.

Angel, glad to hear that you are feeling so positive. Sounds like everything went well and really, all you need is one embie to make a baby! Can't help out with symptoms though, I think the progesterone support they give you for the 2ww can produce similar symptoms to both AF and pregnancy so it is really hard to tell. I have had moments of feeling faint but I think it is related to the egg collection as I am still feeling really bloated and quite sore and it has been unusually humid here which doesn't help (and I can't go swimming, grrr, do they make pilchers for adults?). When is your test day? If you post in the October test dates thread, Debra will add you to the list...if you want to be added of course. There is also the 2ww thread full of other normally sane people like ourselves who are trying to make time pass quicker. I will keep my fingers crossed for ya!

Happy Tuesday to everyone...have a good day!

Cheers
Heather

Hiya ladies,

Angel, good luck with the 2ww - you have a great attitude; I have a good feeling about you, I too am sure that it will be a BFP result

Bel, hope your neck has got better soon after you posted the message few days ago... I hate it when that happens too - such a nuisance isn't it  . Work is cool, you know , I 've told one, two secretaries about my ivf thing.... I am actually counting on their gossip channels to spread it for me  (believe me - it won't take long) - that way I don't have to waste my breath and if/when I return in Feb/June - no more silly assumptions about my hubby and I!!

Holly, how are you coping? you know 21st October is not so far away- you will be fine, BFP is your way :P 8) :P . Thanks for the AF dance, I too hope it will show up very very soon - I am sick and sick of waiting. Waiting for endo pain to arrive is like... I am not sure how to explain it.... I really have to phsyche (anyone know how to spell this word?) myself up for PAIN to arrive- it's a tiring process    . You really never know with endo pain.... , it's a real *****.

Take care everyone, catch ya. Tiger

Hi All

Angel, I hate the crinone gel too...it is revolting! My clinic said that a HPT from 14 days post egg collection should be pretty acurate. I am happy to follow their lead and will test early, provided I get that far. Hang in there, only a week to go! I am experiencing a lot of cramping at the moment and really hope that AF isn't coming now...it is way too early!! I will keep my legs crossed....yep, 'cause that'll help.

Tiger, did the acu help out with the endo? I will try the keepin' the endo pain away dance (while keeping my legs firmly crossed) to see if that works. Are you allowed to take Dolased or Mersyndol...these would be great at night as they help you sleep...not so good during the day when you need to go to work.

B, hope the neck is feeling better....Mersyndol for you too!

It is nearly the weekend..yay..hope you all have a great Thursday.

Cheers
Heather

Just popping in to say hello. Hope your all doing well. I'm slowly crawling out of my mood and I'm feeling much better about my fsh levels last month. I'll get there again, if I could do it once, I can do it again. I'm just going to have to wait.

Sorry for not going over all your msg's to respond to you all individually but I don't have alot of time this morning and I knew it would take me forever to catch up  I'm lazy!!

Talk to you soon

Hi all,

Paula, great to hear from you..glad that you're lurking around and great that you're feeling OK about the whole IVF lark. The Fsh will behave, I just know it..I have everything crossed for you!

Tiger, endo pain sucks big time..The strange thing though was that before I was diagnosed as having it, I just assumed all women had dreadful cramping pain prior to and during af..I also assumed that really heavy bleeding was normal too, makes you realise that we gals don't chat in such detail about these things!..Great idea re. telling some of the admin staff at work. I know at the hospital I work in, news like this would travel like wildfire, very effective in getting news around rapidly without having to repeat the details over and over and over..

Heather, one week to go!!!..YAYAYAYAYAYAY..Don't blame you for wanting to test early, I think I would too..Good luck my Qld buddy!

My neck is getting stacks better. I have had two physio sessions and they made a STACK of difference, I can swallow water from a cup now and can actually tilt my head back!!!

Take care all and have a great weekend (it's almost here)

Hi Paula, Bel, Heather and Angel...

just a quickie from me... I am in pain...made to work this morning but nearly didn't stay ... I was tempted to just come home and curl up in a little circle and feel sorry for myself - but I was strong - pain killers did eventually kick in and I stayed until 5pm. It's 11pm now - I was in bed (hot water bottle, chocolates, more pain killers) and I just came online to chat with my hubby.... but can you believe - he is not here....? that's ok though - still in too much bother to care why... pretty sad, but..... The good news is my AF is well and truly here with me. So I am not in limbo anymore - 40 days too late but.

Sorry I am a little whingy Tiger today, Hopefully I get myself back tomorrow. Have a great Friday buddies.

Hugs, Tiger

Hey Tiger,

Sorry you are in so much pain, endo is truly awful. Curling up in bed with a hot water bottle and chocolate sounds like a fabulous way to look after yourself. Is hubby OK??, great that you can chat to him so freely on the net isn't it?, must save a fortune in long distance calls..Keep on looking after yourself, be kind and gentle, lots of chocolate and maybe some red wine even (always made me feel better!!!).

Take care
B

My word, we are in the wars aren't we. Tiger, I so hope your pain is subsiding...it must be a b*tch trying to anticipate the level of pain you are going to have and an even bigger b*tch when it comes. I like Belinda's idea of the red wine...it might help.

Belinda, glad to hear that your neck is on the mend...albeit a little slowly. I think some red wine might be in order for you too, that will surely provide some relief.

Hiya Paula, glad to see you back. I really hope that your FSH levels are plummeting as I type and that you will be all set to go next month. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Angel, I am not temping. I have done in the past but the HCG shot interferes with normal temps (tends to raise them) and has always given me false hope. Are you feeling any different yet? I hate the way the 2ww makes you super sensitive to any twinge, ache or pain in the general area of your lower abdomen. I have wasted so much time pondering what may be going on down there!

I am not feeling so positive, my bloating and pain are subsiding which I don't think is a good thing.....although, as I had never experienced this before and the bloating hung around for such a long time, I was really worried that this was the new me and that this was how fat I was going to be from now on!! I just think more follies=longer recovery. I did have some spotting on Wednesday but really not anything much...DH left a message at the clinic to see what we should do and they still haven't got back to us! Thankfully it resolved itself and all has been well since. I am also craving champagne, err, sparkling wine for us Aussies. I am not a big drinker but do like the odd glass of bubbly and it just seems that everywhere I look, people are hooking into champagne...we always want what we cant have eh.

Well, obviously I can't sleep (have been up for two hours now) so I am glad it is the weekend and I don't really have to think, well, not unless I want to.

Have a good one ladies!

Cheers

Hi,

Heather - stay +positive+ my dear friend. I reckon, your little spotting on Wednesday was an implantation spotting  , YES.

Bel, hubby is ok. the last time I wrote my message here complaining that he wasn't here - well you wouldn't believe what he was doing - he was sleeping on the chair in front of the computer - poor thing fell a sleep waiting for me to appear..... . Anyway, we have only 2 more weekends apart (not incl this one). Not long to go now!

BTW, sorry about my endo and pain saga... and thanks for listening to me ... I feel better now, still took couple of pain killers today but it's nearly over....and now that AF is back... hopefully my cycle wil return to normal and I will have her again in 28 days time; back to regular cycle .... not like in 67 days like the last :( !!!!!

Cheers, Tiger

Tiger,

Yep, I reckon that once that feral old af (can you tell I'm pre-menstrual!??!) comes after an IVF cycle she gets back to normal, that's certainly how it was for me. Hope hubby is OK, he must work hard and get tired to fall asleep in front of the computer (my hubby falls to sleep in front of the television ALL the time!!!). 20 days until you see him will FLY by!!

Heather, I agree, spotting during the 2ww is nearly always related to implantation bleeding. My sister had it and is now 34 weeks pregnant. Not long now until you test!!!..Lots of baby dust being sent up the rainy Qld coast to you my buddy.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. It has been rainy and lovely here, finally some rain!!..Our yard was sooooo dry we were starting to send up billows of dust when we mowed!!

Oh, and great news about our Princess Mary's baby boy too, wasn't Fred just so lovely and emotional..I cried and cried..Just beautiful. :)

Have a good week to all

Thanks ladies. The positivity is disappearing.....fast! My boobs are no longer sore and I am not feeling anything. DH is following me around with a HPT and I have to keep trying to curb his enthusiasm. I think he has enough positivity for both of us!

Tiger, no need to apologise about the endo saga...that is what we are here for. You have all put up with my moaning and whining over the months, in fact, I am surprised any of you come back! Hope AF is over and you are now happy and pain free. Only 2 weekends to go now..yay!

Josie, thanks for being a cheerleader, it really helps. Those fingers must surely have cramps by now. Thanks again. Hope you and your daughter are doing great...the time is really flying by...are you looking pregnant now? I still get blown away by the whole miracle of life.

Belinda, hope the neck is much, much better. Take it easy this week and try not to do anything to aggravate it.

Angel, how are you doing. Only a few more days for you now. I will keep everything crossed for you this week.

Deanne, hope all is ok with you. Your life sounds really busy at the moment. Hope you are managing to get some 'me' time.

Have a great week ladies.

Cheers
