oporation next week :-(

Post by jennifer79 »

i am having an op next week for pcos and endemitrioses ,
i am having ovarian drilling , they are also going to do a scrape to help with the endemitrioses , not sure of the proper name for the scrape.
they are also going to try and unblock my tubes as they belive they might have been cut when i had my c-section and on top of all that they are going to remove scare tissue from my c-section scar as it has formed to much . and hopefully after all this is done i will be firtile , but i am very scared , have a real fear of being put to sleep , and am also scared to get my hopes up to much incase it does not work .

Hi Jennifer

It sounds like they're really going to put you through the mill. Got to think positiive though ... You'll come out the other side all shiny and new.

I don't like Generals either (but prefer them to sedation). What is it you don't like - the falling asleep bit, or worrying you won't wake up ? For me, it's the falling asleep. It seems to take forever - I beg them to pump more drugs in quickly, and I'm always in tears by this point. So - You are not alone !!

Good luck with the procedures, I hope they're successful for you.

Jenifer - I hope it comes around for you quickly, and that it is a big success. Just concentrate on the reason why you are having this done, how it's going to help you. You must let us know how it goes. Good luck !!
