Hey Heather,
Keep that PMA up..Each time I tested positive after the 2ww I was utterly convinced I was going to get af visiting, and then lo and behold she stayed away. And, my advice is to stay away from those hpt's (bad husband!!), they screw with your head.

Hey angel,
The HPT's are notoriously unreliable at an early stage in the 2ww, it's not over 'til that fad lady starts to warble..
Keep up the PMA and do let us know how it pans out
Take care

Hiya Gals,

Bel, how's work matey? at my work place we have massive relocation (people moving workstations, partitions getting ripped out etc etc) happening and they are also building a new room up right next to where I am.... today we had 1 sparky, 3 communications dudes and 2 builders in our area...... their conversation and equipment is very very loud..... kinda hard to concentrate......

angel, I am wishing very hard for a BIG FAT POSITIVE result for you. Sending you tons and tons of baby dust on your way. Not to worry too much about your HPT result... as Bel said - they are unreliable at early stage, so it ain't over yet!!

Heather, keep up with your PMA, I too have my everything crossed for you and; my hubby has them crossed for your DH in Japan . Thanks for your kind words re my endo btw... I can't wait to get pregnant so that my symptoms will be more bearable - they say pregnancy helps heaps with calming endo pains.....

Josie, hello!! how are you handling your busy schedule these days??? have you started packing yet? I am actually having a packing dilemma right now myself - I have no idea what stuff I want to take back to Japan with me.... I think I will have to leave all my cosmetics and creams etc here and buy exact same set in Japan....with clothes - I am not sure where to begin!!!

Cheers all, Tiger

Hiya Tiger,

Work is good thanks!, kind of like I've never been away, except now I am the oldest in my department..They go nightclubbing on the weekends for goodness sake..I crawl into bed at 8:30 most nights exhausted after running after the delightful (and energetic) Miss Boo, so the thought of clubbing is quite foreign to me (at the ripe OLD age of 33 hey!!)..

Take care guys, Heather and angel very keen to hear of your results

I know what you mean Belinda, and you are only a youngen! It is horrible to suddenly be the old person at work. This happened to me a couple of jobs ago (I have ADD) when I was working at a youth accommodation service, all the youth workers were incredibly young (as they tend to be) and it was just awful to realise that I was old enough to be their mother.....aaarrrrggg! Thankfully where I am now I am a relative baby! What do you think about Peter Beattie's plans for the Qld health system....I am flabbergasted!

Angel, GOOD LUCK for tomorrow. Your temps are high, which is great, I will keep everything crossed for a BFP for you. Can't wait to hear your news.

Tiger, wow, not long to go now. Packing sucks. I always end up with a bag full of clothes that I don't even wear at home....for some reason I think I am going to wear them when I am away...NOT. Hope the office relocation is almost finished so you can get back to work!

Nothin to report here....still not feeling anything so I am not really positive. I am experiencing these horrible hot flushes and found it really hard to walk past the menopause test kits (can you believe such a thing exists) at the supermarket today. I am thinking that if this was an issue my doc might have said something to me at some stage. We also got a letter from the clinic today advising our results....they have lost an embryo somewhere along the way as the letter said that 4 fertilised and two were frozen...the last we heard five had fertilised and three were frozen. Very odd.

Well, have a great Thursday people...especially you Angel!!

Take care
Heather

Hi ladies,

Just a quick note, i'll be testing my fsh levels tomorrow. I"m on pins and needles. I've already calculated that I'll have roughly 16 hours from now before I find out what my levels are. Thank God I'll be sleeping for at least 7 of those!

Hope your all doing well.

Good luck tomorrow Angel. Wishing you a BFP  :D

Well, it's late, so i'm off to bed.

Good evening Ladies,

Heather, hi, I too am confused about your letter from the clinic.... maybe they made a simple mistake and it should have said 5 fertilised and 3 frozen? someone at the clinic couldn't count or whoever that typed your letter made a typo? Have you had chance to check with them??? it's very very odd indeed.... . Hey what's with Peter Beattie? I am not sure about the Federal Gov's IR reform myself.

Bel, I understand totally when you say you feel like you have never been away from work. I was away for good 2+ years from mine but I too feel like I have never really been away. Some people in the company didn't even realise that I was away - they just thought they haven't seen me around but I was there? Hey, I must admit - I still love going night clubbing when I do - of course we don't do it every weekend but once in a blue moon - with my hubby - it's a good fun. We've done 2,3? over nighters in Tokyo this year - bit like what you saw (if you've seen the movie) Lost in Translation. Dinner with mates, clubbing, karaoke, take 1st train back home.....

angel, good luck for tomorrow. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you.

Paula, just read your message. PMA PMA PMA. 16 hours from now so tomorrow arvo you will know. Let us know how you go, I have a good feeling for you, it will be fine  . I will need to decide sometime in Jan whether to come back for Feb or later.... Limbo really sucks doesn't it.

Cheers, Tiger

Hi all,

Angel, good luck!!, make sure you post as soon as you know OK!!..I have everything crossed for you.

Heather, that is a tad wacky re. your number of embies. I would ring them and get some clairification I think. Yeah, the Beattie proposals (from the little I've heard thus far) are quite astounding. I heard this morning that there is some proposal to means test access to public health. I have a real problem with this, it almost smacks of something Howard would propose (I'm not a fan of his work). And the IR reforms Tiger, don't get me started on those!!

Heather, I have everything crossed for you too..please let us know how it all goes..

Take care all

Hi Bel,

Thanks for your wishes, thank you all, thanks Tiger,

I got my fsh test results and they've gone higher this month than last month. I"m ok though!! I feel very good in fact, calm and relaxed. I owe alot to you ladies here for always being here, for caring and for helping me keep the PMA, and for watching everything you all go through and watching how amazing you all are, how strong, and I'm just very grateful to have this place to come to. So thanks Girls!! Your the best!!

Ahhhh Paula, so sorry to hear that your fsh levels are still high, is crap news..Glad that you're feeling OK though, I really think that the rollercoaster that is IVF and fertility treatment is probably a little easier on you when you are calm and accepting (MUCH easier said than done for most of us..especially me!!)..Take care of yourself my friend.
Where to from here??
