Afternoon all

Just logged on and seems to have been a busy weekend.

Nes - As I haven't been there yet I don't know how difficult the 2ww is but you're doing ok and we're all praying for you.

Lola - You are so funny, just wanted to say keep it up.

Leigh - You're on to the next bit, how exciting.

Anna - Well done on your ET. I'm sure your blasties have a beautiful new home.

Steph - Not long to wait, everything crossed.

Nothing to report here, waiting for AF. Have a scan on Wed so need AF to arrive tomorrow so I can start stimming. Can feel rumblings. So whilst we pray for other people's uterus' to stay put please pray for mine to let rip!

Love to you all.

Hiya Octobunnies

How's everyone today?
Steph, Nes and Debra on the final countdown (da da da dahhhh, dada da da da)....... so exciting!
Anna just embarking on the HMS 2ww ship of stress - good luck, thinking of you and sending welsh stick voodoo.
I don't know how you guys do it, the 2ww I mean. Nerves of steel.
Walshy - are you excited about wednesday? Y'know, it's great seeing everyone progress and get nearer to The Goal.

The rest of us upping and downing like yo yos in the hand of a teen with an asbo.....

The mood-o-meter says the going will be soft today. Low energy and zip diddly concentration. Is like someone opened up a large can of Can't-be-ersed (TM) and made me drink the entire contents. What would that taste like I wonder? Like choco milk I reckon.
I'm bored of Buserelin! Bring on the stimms!!! Have my scan and bloods on Thursday. We'll see.
I need some patience, I'll have a look on eBay.

Take care and may positivity sherbet rain down on you all

Lot of love

Lola

Hi everyone! Hope you are feeling better than I am today. I have already started crying 3 times at work!!!!!!!!! and it's only lunchtime. I am towards the end of DRing and it seems the emotions are getting stronger. DH left yesterday for a business trip, that's what started this, and won't be back for 5 more days!!!!!! I thought I would be ok with it, but seem to be a little lost without him. He is the one I always turn to. I know I can talk to him on the phone, but that's not the same and he only has a few minutes.

Sorry to bring down the mood! Really hope everyone is progressing well! Have to get back to work, take care and will write more later.

Hi girls

Your threats and dancing made the difference as dear AF arrived today. However, I phoned my clinic this morning and they changed my appt til next week as they said I definitely won't be "switched off" yet if AF only arrived today. I'm used to this now so not upset as I realised that tomorrow would only have been a wasted journey. I will start stimming next week or else!

Stephanie - It's horrible when you're feeling down. The thing that keeps me going when that happens is that I think tomorrow will be better. Lots of love to you.

Thinking of everybody hanging in there. The 2ww is something that I want yet dread.

Little R - How are you? How did your EC go?

This is a bit annoying - can't get back to thread to see if I've left anybody off. Sorry if I have.

Thinking of you all.

Hi everyone! Hope all is well.

Camilla - Thanks for the words of support. I am having a much better day today. Sorry you are having to be a "yo-yo". Maybe this is a good sign, get all the delays out of the way early and then smooth sailing.

Lola - How are you progressing?

Walshy - Good luck with EC!!!!

For those in the 2ww, sending LOTS of PMA your way!

How is everyone else progressing with your cycles?

AF arrived this morning. I go for my scan on Thurs to see if I am suppressed yet! I hope so, I am ready to start stimming! DH will be home on Friday, so good timing. He can be there to help me through this, what a saint!!!!!!!!!

Hope all is well! Talk to you later!

Lots of Love,
Stephanie

Nes, I've posted elsewhere but CONGRATULATIONS - it can't be said too many times !!!!!!!!!!

Lola, even in the midst of my Debra's solo pity-fest, you still made me snort with laughter with your 'Lola chats to the boss' sketch. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Re. Senor Benecio Del Toro....first reaction 'no thanks, not if you paid me, he's all yours' then did a double-take thinking, 'Lola is clearly of above-average intelligence why would she bother with that shrimp of a fool in Life is Beautiful'?....only then did the penny drop....so, not Signor Roberto Benigni then????

Thanks again for the much needed laugh and good luck on Thursday.
Debra.

Hi girls,

I'm new to this. I've been reading the messages for quite some time but haven't posted. If you don't mind i'd like to join you all in this October thread. I had my transfer on Saturday the 15th. we had 2 Blast transferred I'm so excited but nervous too since this is my 2nd cycle. The first one was a frozen cycle and this one was a fresh cycle so hopefully it will work out. I was wondering if anyone knows how long after the transfer does it take to implant and if there's anything I should notice. I guess i just want to hear anything that will keep me positive.

Good luck to all of you and thanks for allowing me to join in!

Take care

Hi Lisette. Implantation after a blast should be around ET + 3 approx. There are no guaranteed signs at all. Some people have slight spotting aka. 'implantation bleeding' but I've had 3 +ve cycles with no spotting so it's not essential nor usual. The meds you're probably on (progesterone pills/shots/pessaries) will give you all sorts of pregnancy-alike symptoms eg. sore boobs so it's almost impossible to tell how it's going. As you know from last time, it's tough going at times.

Other than that...my advice would be to join in the chat wherever you want. There are all kinds of groups nattering away - age, location, type of tmt, stage of tmt, mood that day...you get the picture!

Enjoy your 2ww, with blasts at least it's short :)

Hi everyone,

Just reading your updates as I'm in limbo at the moment, moving house in 10 days and then once we settle in I can make an appointment with clinic but don't think I'll be starting my next cycle until the new year.

Lola I love your posts - even when you are having a bad day you manage to bring a smile to my face.
