Blood pool in uterus

HI All,
I am new to this site and was looking for some reassurance/direction.
I underwent IVF/ICSI last month and had + preg test on 10/7.
Beta doubled and numbers looked great for 3 consecutive tests. On 10/14 had very light spotting - no big deal. Last night had some moderate bleeding for a while, which tapered off. Saw the dr this morning - u/s showed gest. sac with yolk sac - things looked to be correct size. But dr also pointed out a pool of blood which had collected in my uterus.
I was just wondering if anyone else experienced anything similar. I know my chances are 50/50, so we'll just see. But am looking for a bit of hope!
Going back next week for u/s.

I had what was called a sub chorionic bleed or hemmorage in fact I had two....They have since healed but I was further along when it happened...I was at 11 weeks when it occured...Here is another post with more information on scb/sch

Thanks for the info on SCH. Sounds very similar to what I am experiencing. Hope it heals pretty soon. Have stayed at home for 2 days and rested - now I am just spotting some brown blood, so hope that's a good sign.
