Hi

I am becoming quite addicted to our computer! I think the next week will go slowly as you all are progressing and I seem to be on a treadmill. How long on average does it take to downreg after AF?

Nes - WOW - fantastic, so so happy for you. It's so encouraging to hear good news. Now you can relax.

Lola and Stephanie - Best of luck with your scans. Hope you can move on a space on this board game of hell. Lola - I cannot compete with your comedic rantings. Hope you can keep it up.

Jen and Lisette - Welcome. Any thoughts and updates are listened to.

PMA to everyone.

Love Camilla xxx

Hi,
Well had my EC today and they retrieved 17......
I am so shocked with that number and am waiting for the big bomb to hit when they tell me none of them fertilized....I suppose though after being on 450mls of Gonal F for over a week there was bound to be alot, but am thinking major positives for at least 1/2 of them to be fertilised.
I had really worked myself up about the EC and it was over before i knew it. I am a bit of pain at the moment but i'm sure it will fade.
They will put 1 back in on Friday and freese the rest.
Well good luck to you all on out TTC rollercoaster.
Nes- Congratualtions on the BFP. Enjoy the next 9 months. :D :D

B del T (AKA The Toro) is the mexihunk from Traffic, ya loon!
Man o man. glad I made you laugh though, you sounded really down. Hope you're feeling a bit better today, tomorrow is the big one. Everyone is rooting for you!

Walshy - glad it all went well, need a bit of fertility magnetism in the petri dish tonight.

Welcome Pauline and Lisette!

Steph - posted elsewhere but wishing you all the best for todays Big Result.

I have post cream cake od headache, the remedy for which is new shoes! Scan tomorrow, have been trying to sense whether I'm deregulated in a yogic know thyself manner but its just giving me frown lines and the urge to go to the toilet.

Anyway - I hear the sweet low call of the shoe... buy me....love me....let me caress your foot with my leather upper.....

Lots of love

Walshy, great news. Best of luck with the fertilisation stats and then ET.

Lola...I know, I know  Hard to imagine two less similar men, that's why I found it so odd that you'd lust after RB. I saw Traffic and Life is Beautiful and whilst neither ring my bell, at a push I'd probably let BDT hold my hand but only if he asked nicely and promised to respect me afterwards.

Sorry if this tangent is boring for everyone else, but my crappy mood can't continue much longer.

Hi and wishing you all so much luck.

HI My Best Buddies!

Walshy- congratulations on the egg retrieval - great number!

Nes- Congratulations!!!!!!!!!! Great, Great, Great.

Also, one more thing............. BFP for me!! I can't actually believe it!!! So very, very happy. I got the results from the doc's office, but must pee on stick just to see what it looks like to get a positive!

Let's keep our positives coming.

Hi Ladies,
just got the phone call....Only 4 little ones fertilised....So i was fine with that number as it only takes 1 but then they turn around and say that they will not be putting them back in tomorrow as I am at a too high risk for OHSS. I am very disappointed and upset. The four will then be frozen and hopefully in a couple of months they will go back in. I feel so awful for my husabnd as I really wanted this one to be the one..... I feel guilty as all the fertility problems are from me and he so wants to be a dad. He is so supportive but i just feel like i continually let him down....and don;t even get me started on how i've disappointed myself......OK enough self dwelling time to pick myself up and move on...maybe just a few more hours of self pity.....
I hope all you ladies out there have a better result then me this month.
Take care from Walshy

Walshy - I am so sorry to hear that you have to wait. But it is best to let the OHSS resolve itself. You don't want to risk anything. This will give you time to be at your best and then go back in a month or 2. Please don't be too disappointed. You have not let your husband our yourself down. You did everything you could and you know how our bodies are, sometimes it is out of our control.

Hope you are feeling better about this!!!!

Walshy, taking a break and letting your body calm down before trying a FET is the only way foward. We've had several of these situations recently and both got +ves, it will be worth the wait.

take care and please don't beat yourself up. You're doing a great job, you and DH have lots to look forward to. Enjoy Christmas and New Year and early in 2006, you'll be ready to go again.

hugs
Debra.

Debra,

Thanks for your response. Well that's exciting to hear because last time i did have spotting and this time nothing yet so I'm thinking that probably good. You said you had 3 +'s so how old are your children?

It's great to hear all your stories it really helps you better understand what we're going thru. take care

Afternoon all,

Walshy - It doesn't seem fair does it, I know how you must feel. But you haven't done anything wrong, you did your best and you've got your frosties. It will happen! We are all with you and will be here when you have your FET.

Lola - I knew it had to happen, you sent your message twice, ha ha.

Haven't heard from Little R or Leigh, hope you're ok.

Lisette, tragically 3 +ves doesn't necessarily mean what you'd think. We've had one successful pregnancy, one early miscarriage and one ectopic pregnancy.
