Hello my IUI buddies!!!

I'm back! I have somewhat recovered from my BFN....I cried as always for a few days. Now I am so ready for another cycle....wish Nov. could come sooner!

Nicki, I was reading your posts to Babysoft about your past cycles and noticed you got scans done. My RE had never ordered any scans for me for my 2 cycles. He only goes by the +LH surge. Now I feel all I went through might have been a waste. What if I didn't have a follicle to begin with, is that possible?

Denise, Glad to hear you're cycling again. What kind of injections are you on?

Holly, Glad your BP is under control. Hope we get to cycle together!

Smita, Hope you and your baby's doin' alright.

Hi Elle,

I start with Puregon, the the HCG trigger shot, then Prometrium suppositories. Fun stuff.

i hated the suppositories...

i would of just preferred to have the shots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

we werent blessed with our babies to raise here but we our blessed with our grandaughter
and all of our many adopted and foster children that touch our lives
and i am glad to add that our 6th grandchild will be born this spring!!!!

Hope we all get some :D this time around.

Nicki, I live in the US. I guess it depends on the RE. I had another consultation with another RE and he said he usually scans his pts. undergoing IUI. But unfortunately, his clinic charges way to much compared to my current RE. I really cannot afford going to him or my IUI's.

I have a consultation with my RE again on the 26th to discuss what injectibles will be goin' with. Most likely it'll be Gonal-F.

Its great you're going again.. helps to focus on other things than the pain inside..
abt scans, cant you ask your current RE to scan you once the drugs have started so you can at least go in with confidence? maybe you can offer to pay??

hi smita!
my RE doesn't scan for unmedicated cycles, only with medicated cycles. so i'm looking forward to use some meds this time around and see what happens.

Just praying AF shows up for you. It's comforting that we cycle together, and it will be wonderful when we get due dates close together!

I got my levels back - 650 estradiol, and 2 LH... good to go for scan on Sunday!!
