Hi Girls

Thanks so much for your wishes. As for the labour.... it was very fast and furious hence no epidural
Iwill post the full story once I have time...but I went from 2cm when my waters broke to fully dialated in 40mins  no one could believe it inc the midwifes.. my labour inc 3rd stage lasted a grand total of 2hrs 48mins. I have been told that if i ever have any more i will have to have a home birth or be in hospital towards the end. Thank god they finally did take me in as I now know we would never have made it to hospital in time if my waters had broken at home
My babies are beautiful and getting one of each after all our attempts seems to good to be true.I feel like my life is complete. Evie is very placid, with dark hair and skin..Alex is much fairer and has a very good set of lungs
We came home Sun and all was fine until Wed when I started running a temp, which by yest i was very ill, with a temp of 39.9. Midwife and doc came and I have a kidney infection. I am now on some mega antibiotics which seem to be working. MIL has been down last 2nts and her and Rob have been feeding them bottles at night..but they will still take the breast during the day..so will have to see what happens.
Well i need to put Alexander down now and we are also going to bed(in the afternoon) but not for the same reasons we used to
Love from Sue who has waited all her life for this moment

Sue

Thanks for letting us know how you and the family are.

It all sounds fantastic and very organised already - well done you!!

I do hope that the kidney infection clears up quickly and you feel more like your old self shortly.

Take care and again welcome to the new additions.

fantastic and wow, fast and very painful i imagine !
it really is the moment we've been waiting for when our precious baby(s) enter this world - i cried buckets after both of mine and it wasn't just hormones.
Don't worry about them bottle feeding - its great if they'll do both and they will if introduced early. For different reasons I mixed breast and bottles of expressed milk with both of mine and its great as dad can join in and when they get a bit older grandma and other relatives can continue to give the odd bottle when you need or want them to. Thomas breastfeeds in the day and I give him expressed in btls at night as its quicker and I know hes getting a good feed so he settles really well and is sleeping through from 10.30 pm to 6am already (8wks )

can't wait to see the photos, loads of love wendy xxxxx

Wendy,
Its lovely to hear abt how everything is after the lil ones arrive..
I keep popping in onto the parents after tmt board as well to see how you all are doing..
Just curious if Benjamin feels jealous of Thomas and the time you obviously have to spend with him..
