LH Surge

How often do you check for LH surge before the insemination??

Once, Twice or more times a day??

Just wondered, 1st IUI i did just 1 time aday. got surge on 2nd day, but hey what if i had to surged 23 hrs earlier?? So 2nd IUI i did am when i woke and lunch time, with intent to do it later also but got surge at 12 noon, so if i had of just done it once that morning and then not til next day, wow I would have been almost 24 hrs late... The window for ov is only 24 hrs....

So now i am about to try 3rd IUI should i be doing those tests every hour? every 4 hrs? 3 times a day? what??

I've never done IUI so no experience, but Zita says that :

"LH is not released all at once, but rises and falls for 24-48 hours. The LH rise usually begins in the early morning while you are sleeping; it appears in your urine about 4-6 hours later. For this reason, first-morning urine may not give the best result".

So testing at 6:30 when i wake is a waste of time yeah?? best to test at lunch time ish then??

i got told to test from day ten first wee of day they inseminate that day or even day after

I don't know how I missed your post, but I did - you should have SHOUTED !! It's from Zita's book. Yeah - Zita is saying to test late morning / lunch. However, this contradicts what Diane has been told ..? Better check with your clinic I think ..!

has no kids of his own and wants to marry me lol lol bit soon i think but we get on great
