Hurrah! What a relief to have the site back!

Since it went down, I've had ec and et (yesterday - Sunday). Had 3 transferred (because of our genetic translocation) - 2x grade 2 8 cells and 1x grade 2+ 6 cell. My clinic tell us to hpt 16 days after transfer which is a bloody long wait. That would be Tuesday 13th May. I might slip in an early test before that, I reckon, maybe around 10th or 11th - do you think that'l be too early?

How's everyone else doing? Anyone with similar dates?

love,
Nina

Dear Nina,

Phew - glad the website is up and running again. I had 2 embryos put back yesterday, so I'm going to be testing on the 14th - one day after you. It is tempting to test early, but try not to do it too early as it may be a false negative.

Good luck and let me know how you get on.

P.S. Are you off work this week? I'm off sick this week, then I had a holiday booked from months ago for next week, si it should help to take my mind off things!

Alison

Hi Alison P, Shell, Alison and everyone,

On day 3 of 2ww - time is going SLOWLY! Feeling a bit sturdier today, a bit less 'every little jolt hurts' - I was v. fragile yesterday when I went back to work - crept around the office as had major right ovary pain! Had ec last Thursday (took it as a day off), threw a sickie on Friday, had et on Sunday and called in sick on Monday too - they think I've had some kind of major sickness viral thing! Me and my partner have planned a few nice things for the long weekend and beyond, but I know the 2nd week in particular is going to be agony!

How's everyone else doing?

love,
Nina

Hi all,

I'm doing fine at the moment - I always find the 2nd week worse. I'm enjoying my time off work - I decided to take the full 2 weeks off this time (sod work), but I'm actually going on holiday to Scotland next week (was supposed to be a walking hloiday, but I don't think I'll be exerting myself too much now).

Chill out at work - get your GP to sign you off work if it's all getting too much (I don't even go and see mine - he is happy to sign me off for 2 weeks if I ask). However, everyone's different and I know that other people feel happier going to work and taking their mind off things.

I won't be on until I get back off my hols - so GOOD LUCK!! Lots of PMA - and I look foward to catching up on everyone's (hopefully good) news when I get back,

Alison xx

Just wanted to wish everyone lots of luck. My 2 week wait starts next Thursday after the e/t, like yourselves I don't know what to do with myself. I might take a week off sick as a couple of people know about me going for IVF (and I couldn't be bothered with all the questions).

Anyway girls, hang in there. Hopefully it will fly in.

Bye for now

heather b.

Hi all!

I'm a bit of grump this morning. Woke up in middle of night really thirsty (probably because of Indian takeaway!) and couldn't go back to sleep - kept going through 2 possible result scenarios. It drove me insane. Today I'm knackered, got very very sore boobs (the cyclogest's obviously really kicking in now)and feeling grumily premenstrual. My poor partner, is what I think!

On day 7 of 2ww after a 3 day et. Planning on testing next weekend, even though clinic told us to do it on day 16 after et - too long, I say!

Is anyone else feeling similarly frustrated?

love,
Nina
