Hi every one.

I have just completed my first IVF cycle, and got a positive on Tuesday 18th October 2005... so I guess I should be joining you guys on here now!

Hope you are all having a great time as our bumps get bigger!

I will be 5wks tomorrow, and I hope that we are haveing twins, but we won't know until our first scan on 31st october....

Welcome to the other side!!. good luck with your scan on the 31st. You should join the first tri thread , I think it is quote busy at the moment as lots of BFP's this month.

Hi Nes

I got a BFP on the 12th October so we are about the same - although I wish my scan was the 31st as it is not until the 3rd Nov.

Had a question - Am I 6 weeks today (EC was monday 26th sept)or 6 weeks on Wednesday (ET was wednesday 28th sept) not that it matters just wondered and was a bit confused

Wishing you lots of patience until your scans!!Somehow more nail-biting than the 2ww aint this??

as an aside,julie, pregnancy is calculated usually from the first day of the last AF.. weird but so it is!

Problem with the first day of my last AF is that it was the 27th August - I had to wait two weeks because the first week I went to see if I could start stims (1st sept) Af had not finished and the second time on the 8th they were full for that week so I was held on buserlin for an extra two weeks

This might help - the day you do you pregnancy test, you are effectively 4 weeks pregnant!!

There is a calculator (Under Resources) on the left hand side of this page and it might help give you a more exact date.
