EC next weekend - need buddies!

Thank heavens this site is back - I thought I would have to do it alone! I have been injecting for 7 days - have really bloated out today ( don't remember this happening so soon last time) and probably looking at egg collection round the bank holiday - i have a scan tomorrow so will know more. Is anyone out there who is around this time too or can reassure me about the bloating? SAmK

Hey Sam Funny I was gonna ask you in the other message I posted whether you tum was bloated - I remember mine was! Hopefully means lots and lots of eggs - near Easter after all! Was in Lister on Friday collecting all my drugs - was v quiet. Should be going for my first scan beginning of next week. I see you will in there for EC - Good luck - I will be sending you good luck vibes from the waiting room! lol Lissa x

Hi Lissa, Am really bloated! Went for a scan today and there are 11, but they still think i am hyper stimulating as after 7 days they are 16mm! They have taken some blood to check estrogen but I am concerned I will have to coast again. If not ec will be on saturday. I will be back in the Lister on Thurs for anther scan - it is much quieter at the moment - just after Christmas it was mad. Please you have kicked off again - when do u think your dates wil be or is it too early to say?

Hi Sam Fingers crossed for you ec - hope all goes well. Not sure about my dates but I figured I would be sniffing and injecting for May and that I should be on 2ww first two weeks of June. Hopefully the sun will be shining and I can sit in my garden and incubate! I presume you will be on 2ww next week and after? Are you going to be at home? x

hi sam, hope blood test results went well i felt very bloated through my injections so don`t fear, i had ec today so i`ll know tom how many will be going back in on thursday good luck

Hi everyone Tracey S - ont he basis that everything goes smoothly for me ( which now I've said it won't do) we should only be 2 days apart ( my et should be tuesday) so it would be cool to be your buddy - I think it will help a lot! I need as many people as possible to tell me not to do early tests - and I would be delighted to return the favour! Donut - good luck with your fertilised results, that bit of waiting is always horrid - keeping fingrs crossed for big juicy ones - let us know Lissa - sunshine sounds good , but being the pessimist I want to go on a fabbo holiday when (if) it fails so I am trying not to take any holiday ( taking sick would be a no no my place) so I think I will come back to work 2days after transfer. The distraction will be good if nothing else. Must resist lifting I think the gonal f is sending me a bit teary last night the injection hurt a bit and I was wailing away afterwards for a good 10 mins. I think my poor DH was a bit peturbed! Feel a bit stupid now. Back for hopefully final scan tomorrow

Hi Sam How ya doin? I remember the gonal f made my very teary, a the drop of a hat infact. I remember walking around B&Q carrying cans of paint wearing huge sunglasses and crying my eyes out because of some stupid Mariah Carey song on the tannoy!! Hi Sam & all Managed at last to log on, thought i was going mad. I have my day 10 scan tomorrow, day 8 scan showed 17 follies but they were quite small, i'm only on 100puregon a day as last time had slight ohss. I'm slightly worried as i don't really want to produce too many more follies as the ones there need to hurry up and grow, the docs don't want to up the dose in case i start ohss again, anyone any thing similar happened or am just unessarily worrying?? I think if all goes well EC will be middle of next week. love DebTxx

Hi everyone I'm glad I'm not the only teary one - the other rather disturbing side effect is that I am finding the most unlikely men attractive! Just put it down to being about to ovulate! So swollen - i look like i have a balloon up my jumper!

Hi all Had 9 day scan today - 13 follicles of good size so will have ec on saturday depending on oestrogen/ estrogen ( How DO you spell it) levels which i will know this afty. Geared up for Sat so hopefully will be then Hi Vic - of course I remember you - wondered how you were getting on. Which shoudl only be a day apart how are you doing? Really can't concentrate at work today!
