Oct 05 Cycle Buddies

Hi everyone! Just had my 1st scan for stimming. I have 17 follicles growing on the right and 6 on the left. No wonder I am feeling a little uncomfortable on the right already. Anyway, nothing bad though, I just know it's there.

Camilla - I am only on stim day 4 so far the only side effects I have noticed are a little nausea, minimal bloating, gassy and bladder fills up quickly. AND I can feel my ovaries stretching. It's not painful, just feels wierd. How are you with your cycle? Any new updates?

Leigh - Congrats and good luck on Friday, you will do fine.

Lola - How are you progressing? I should only be a couple of days behind you.

Jen - any side effects yet?

To all the 2ww'ers. Relax, take a deep breath and watch lots of funny movies to occupy your time.

Hey ladies.

Stephanie (stimmer Numero Uno) I'm day 7 of stimms. It does feel a bit peculiar down Mexico way but other than that I've had no effects. Haven't had a scan yet just a blood test so don't know whats happening folliclewise.
Maybe no effects means it aint working and I'm just injecting Colombian grade Evian into my poor little thighs every morning whilst my ovaries kick back on the sofa reading "Heat" magazine, sipping Options with Trisha on in the background. If that is the case me, my pharmacist and my ovaries (Ken and Barbie) are going to have a major falling out.

I am totally exhausted today. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz yawn. My duvet is a siren to my somnolent self.

Camilla eggstra, like it. Whats happening with your deregging, are you waiting for a blood test or something?

Leigh can understand you being a bit miffed about changing date - I hate it when they move the goal posts but NOT LONG NOW!!! How exciting!! I hope everything goes well!

Little R - you'll get square eyes! Hope you've got lots of choco treats to nourish you during your DVD fest

Hi Everyone
How are you doing?
I'm really nervous and scared. Embryologist phoned this morning. 2 embryos divided into 4 and 2 divided into 6. They said ones that divided into 4 were ideal but ones that divided into 6 were going too fast and would probably burn themselves out, so looks like we're down to 2. They will phone me again in morning to let me know if our 2 little embies have divided ok and then it's ET tomorrow afternoon. Please, please let them be OK, I'm so frightened, I just want them back in me. If we'd had ET today as they said first those 2 would be in me now.
Aaah, this is so hard!!!!

Hello everyone

HURRAH, HOORAY! I have started stimming! Went to clinic yesterday for scan and blood test. They whizzed through the blood test the same day so that if it was ok I could start stimming same day and it was good news. Couldn't wait to get that 1st injection in last night! Wanted to let you know yesterday but didn't get a chance. Couldn't wait to tell you today.

Leigh - Friday it is then. Wishing your little embies all the most positive vibes. It must seem strange to have them somewhere else but they're being looked after and will soon be home.

I have nothing new to add on me- still waiting for Mondays ultrasound. DH is convinced of twins, I am convinced of one- who will be right? I'll let you know.............

Nes- if memory serves, which sometimes it doesn't, OK it only serves occassionaly if you must know- you also have a scan on Monday- Good luck and keep us posted!

So far so good with the downregging although i had my first hot flush yesterday and felt like an old granny. Got all flustered then came the headache from hell. Apart from that i am fine and wishing the days away so i can get on to the next stage. Have my baseline scan on the 7th Nov then hopefully on to stimming. This is the first time i have been excited about having injections, all this treatment must be affecting my brain too. Thanks Stephanie and Camilla for asking about me.
Hope everyone is doing ok. All this PMA going around is bringing great news to this site, i hope it continues, always.

Jen - Your scan will come round in no time if you keep yourself (not too) busy. I was deregging for five weeks but knew it was worth it.

Steph - How exciting to have a scan next Mon and see your little one or two! It gives us all hope.

Hi Everyone

Thanks to Stephanie, Camilla, Steph and Anna for messages. Had ET today, two little embies settling in and plumping up their pillows for the long haul!! Yippee!! Test date 7th Nov, so not long to wait. Taking it easy and letting DH pamper me.
