Hi ya all

Terri - Nice to hear I had been missed....I usually do folks head in...hahaha..
Don't worry about work, if you are signed off they can't do anything about it, I know what you mean by saying you love your job and would not be off unless you had a valid reason, I used feel guilty being off sick from my last job, didn't do me any favours by feeling guilty
Bet your so so soooooo! excited about DH coming home. He is going to be stunned with his buffet, especially you doing chicken, good on your girl.
Bless your nephew for keep kissing your neck, they are sweet at the right times, they also beleive a kiss makes it all better, suppose like adults really, don't we say have a cuppa tea will make you or everything feel better.
Wouldn't worry about ringing the doctor about your pills, as you say you think you may have ovulated on your own last time, we all know our own bodies.
Yep.. I agree lets start a healthy cycle Monday, I have been eating loads of crap this week too, especially having the kids, great though isnt it eating loads of crap. Im also out drinking tomorrow night, as our friends are coming over from Nuneaton, she is 17 weeks pregnant, im surrounded by pregnant woman.
Went to visit Mel today, who is 1 day over due. told her to have a good curry and maybe S$$!...ha ha....
You are very slim for your height, thats so unfair... im jealouslllhee hee...
Im going to stay postivie for you this time round... this is going to be your turn, think about us ladies dancing for you, will make you laugh, you can make up some silly kind of dance in your head.... i think I already have an image...   so funny!
You have given KT some good imfo about HyCosy, I had never heard of it before. she will find that info very usefull.

Anyone else to any Gossip... I love gossip!llll ha ha..

Anyways ladies, If I don't hear or reply over the weekend, have an ace weekend and stay positive and happy. especially you terri DH is home hurray....

Hi everyone, Looks like all of us are doing great with the PMA. GOOD FOR US.

MrsM I'm so happy that you are doing great around pregnant women (I know we might look great on the outside but crying inside) but it is not easy to do that. loads of PMA for U soon will be our turn right? Terri, Don't let us miss u after DH arrives (jus kiddin, he he). I would try and do a ovulation dance for you though I can't do as good as I think KTF will as I have never danced before. Have a good time. KTF I was on the same boat as u during my first cycle I had to pay back all the time off and take only unpaid leave, that really added to the heavy ICSI cost.

Sorry girls that I have to keep this post short, got to hurry to the market to buy some organic food or there will be nothing left.

love all, take care girls

2 hours til DH is home................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just read the last few threads and can you believe how we all are now? Look at the start of the thread (page 1) and then look at page 8-10. How well have we all done with the PMA! I am so proud of all of us. This is not easy and we are doing bloody well!

I laugh so much at the thought of the ovulation dance! I must tell DH about that!

Chel, I'm sure I'll be back here half an hour after DH gets home! he he.
What kind of organic food do you get at the markets. Is it expensive over there?

Mrs M you are doing well around your pregnant friends. I am doing better too. You know what I found hard? I was totally fine with it all. Then when my friend was round the other night she sat there rubbing her belly with both hands. For some reason that was like someone punched me in the stomach...........just felt really bad again for five minutes. She hasn't really got a belly yet and I think it just drew my attention to it again and the fact its not happening for me. ONly lasted 5 minutes though and then I was okay, just focused on her on face when she was talking!

Better go, have to make myself look presentable for DH. Look a bit of a mess at the moment. I can't do my hair properly cos of my neck! Lifting the hairdryer is hard work!

hi everyone,

went for HSG on Fri. Was very uncomfortable and annoyed after the procedure. Thought I m wasting time & money on unnecessary procedures (posted in Nov buddies). Feeling better after a couple of advice from Nov buddies.

Terri, I can't get much organic food here. The market near my place has a small section for organic vegetables like green leafy vegetables (jus one or two varieties), tomatoes, ladies fingers, cabbage etc. Not much variety of vegetables and if I m late nothing will be left. I don't know if I can get them else where here. I m new to this organic food stuff I have never bothered to eat organic food before so kinda hard to find them. Went to another supermarket yesterday and bought some organic beans, sunflower seeds, and some dried fruits. It's definitely more than double the price I pay for the regular vegetales. I am not eating outside much nowadays as the cooked food here contains a lot of msg and preservatives. DH is very bored with my cooking lately as I end up cooking the same kind of food most of the time. He used to eat all the unhealthy food his mum cooks (he he I 'm being nasty abt my mother in law, sorry!). she uses a lot of oil and deep fries almost everything. Actually I feel he is not taking care of himself I told him about the supplements and he said that it's for me and not for him. I told him about the accupunture and he says no time. He told me he had quit smoking but now says he tried his best but can't do away with it (I understand this one because he used to be a chain smoker think its much better now with one or two sticks a day).

What kind of organic food do you get and buy? are they raw or cooked? Any advice on food is really welcome (I m bad in selecting food).

Haaaa..................ve........................ fun

loads and loads of love and PMA to all

Hi ladies.

Hope all is well.

Terri - Hope you are enjoying your time with Hubby. Did he like his buffet? When do you go to NY. I agree with you about look at us since this thread started, really helping isnt it. :D what did DH think of the Dance... did he think we were nuts...maybe he is right but hey we are all doing really good on here. PMA..PMA....PMA...PMA

Can you beleive I went out with my friend who is now 18 weeks pregnant I didn't realise she was this far gone, my other friend Mel who is now 3 days overdue came out too (how brave is she), I had a great time with them but felt like I wanted to curl up and cry, but only felt this for about 10 mins or so. I am really happy for both of them just kinda hard, but thats life isn't it (shouldn't be like this though). Terri - I did the same as you focused on there faces while chatting to them, especially when both were rubbing there bellies. especially Mel as every twinge must feel as thought she going into labour, scary eh!!! wont be long till its our turn to feel the patter off little feet..how lovely!!!.

Chel - Im so so sorry to hear about your news on your HSG on Fri. I have read you post in Nov buddies, I totally agree with Smita on her information. Also most clinics like to be thorough from start to finish. Try not to feel down about it, but I do understand how you feel. I had a painfull scan too trainee Dr (horrid), you will look back at the end of treatment when you get your BFP :D :D . I can't help you on organic veggies, Im going to start eating organic from this week, so I will need advice off terry too . I do agree that the cost is double the price, but all will be worth it though. I know what you mean by mother in-laws not cooking healthy food ect. Since we married he has been eating healthier. Hope you get your date very soon. may not hurt to keep chasing the clinic, may come up with something sooner or have a cancelation.

Happy halloween to you all.

lots of PMA, PMA,PMA..... :) :) :)

hello Chel, Mrs M and everyone

Just a quick post as I'm still in agony with my neck! Haven't rang my boss yet as don't want her making me feel guilty again.

Lovely to have DH back and yes he loved his buffet. I bought too much food so he had it for tea as well and is still eating it now! He bought back chocolate macadamias and I can't stop eating them. I asked him to hide them which he has done! He gave me a massage this morning which I think has helped a bit (he's trained in this which is great).

I just bought some flaxseed oil (on special in holland and barrett) half price! Its meant to be really good for sorting out hormones! It tastes crap but if you eat something quickly after it goes away!

Chel we get heaps of organic stuff in the supermarkets over here. Some are better than others. You can pretty much get most veges. I think Zita said to limit acidic foods like tomatoes but this might have been for PCOS, I cant' remember.

Yes DH thinks we are all crazy but he will be amazed when he sees that the dance works he he he.

Well done Mrs M for doing so well with your friends. Its very hard isn't it? This is the hardest part of it all for me although it does get easier.

Hi Girls,

Hope you all had a fab weekend.

Terri – Bet you really enjoyed DH being back. :D Hope he loved the buffet. Thanks for the info about the Hycosy, I think it sounds similar to what I might need doing to remove that polyp if I have one. They will definitely have to go inside with a camera. There had better not be a 6 month wait  , although hopefully this won’t apply if you are actually waiting for treatment rather than investigations (although I am sure it is just as important to you personally when it is for investigations). I will def go private if it is, £200 doesn’t sound too bad, someone said they had to pay £1200 privately! Couldn’t afford that on top of all other costs. When are you off to NY?

Chel – I read your bit on cycle buddies. It is so frustrating; I am in exactly the same position. We need IVF for male factor, but now this polyp thing might hold us up. It does go to show it is worth checking the woman out too, just in case. The polyp is nothing serious but it could stop the baby implanting. Just see it that you will be totally checked out and in the best position possible to start IVF. :) Know what you mean about organic food. The supermarkets are getting better at organic, but they still don’t sell everything organic. It is more expensive but prob not twice as expensive. The worst is chicken, now that really is at least twice as expensive. Thing is it is the worst thing to eat non-organic. Not sure if this applies to everywhere, but in the UK a chicken takes about 9 months to grow fully to the right size, non-organic chickens are pumped full of hormones to make them grow to full size – in 6 weeks!! Even free range only guarantees that they can wander around outside, don’t think it stops them using the hormones and anti-biotics. DH has had to learn to chop up a chicken; we buy a whole organic one and then chop it up into all the different cuts so that we get better value. Hope you made the market in time. What are lady fingers? I have visited Singapore briefly once on my way to Malaysia and travelled quite a bit in Malaysia and Vietnam, but never came across lady fingers. Can you describe them?

Hey girls, I just had some good news. I decided that it would be nice to see if we could get DH’s op (to retrieve swimmers) out of the way before Christmas. Our consultation for that was on 18th Dec. I rang to see if they could give us a cancellation. She said the consultant is doing some extra clinics and has rescheduled some of his appointments. So, we have already been moved forward to 18th Nov! really pleased with that, after a very slow start things seem to be moving now. Hopefully DH will have op before Christmas and then he can really eat, drink and be merry and I won’t have to nag him to be too healthy (other than that I want him to live a long and healthy life for our babies!) Amazing how a little bit of news like that can really lift your day! :D :D

Mrs M – well done for coping so well with your friends, being out with them 2 at once and coping is great. :P I only have one friend who is pregnant at the mo, I am coping great with it, really excited for her, but she isn’t really showing yet, put weight on but not showing baby really. I will see how I cope when she shows My best friend has a Dalmatian and a rabbit and now has just got a new puppy yesterday – a border collie. Think that will keep her busy for now!

Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a good weekend?

Terri - Sorry to hear you neck is still bad. I awoke this morning feeling very stressed and neck back bit stiff, not to sure as where the stiffness has come from. regarding the stress, think it may have come on from Saturday being surrounded by the pregnant ladies, to be honest I think its due to being out of work too, as the last company I worked for went into voluntary liquation, also the BFN, suppose issues all come at once and hit you badly again.
Glad to hear DH loved his buffet. Nice to know he is trained in massage too, how lovely... :D
Let me know how you get on with that oil. May try it, you are turning into a health freak, good for you, I got to get a grip with it.

KTF - Im over the moon for you about your appointment... :D :D . I bet your both over the moon. Is DH feeling nervous at all, you know what they are like.. bless them.... Just goes to show doesn't it that they do have cancellations. I will remember this if needed. Im sure DH will be all ok for christmas so he can eat drink and be merry. I do know the feeling when you say you won't have to nag DH aobut being healthy, I nag my DH everyday about being heathy! I think its part of my routine now..hahah...
thanks for good wishes on coping with my friends, Im very happy for them even though can get upset a little. I went to buy some little outfits for my friends little one today, I really enjoyed it, sounds strange I know when I feel stressed today. Aww how lovely a new little puppy, sure will keep her busy, I think its worth it though! You stay happy...keep up with the PMA....

Smita - How are things with you and your bump??

I didn't know what ladies fingers was, know i now, didn't realise was called this...

Hope everyone else is doing ok

wow, 10th November, thats not far off Mrs M! Will be here before you know it. You're not at Walsgrave are you? Is it the QE? My memory is terrible.

Just want to let everyone know who has PCOS, theres a support group next monday at 7pm at the CRM Walsgrave. It should be good as theres a dietician speaker there. I'm going to try and get there if I can.

I think your sore back/neck is from stress too by the sound of it Mrs M. You need to relax! Thats what everyone keeps saying to me! I am finding it hard though. Did some yoga today and that helped a bit. Have you tried yoga? It does help.
I'm not quite a health freak yet. I'm getting there though. DH tried to tempt me into having 1 cup of coffee with him but I was not tempted!
He went out today and when I went in the kitchen he had left me 1 chocolate macadamia nut on the worktop! Made me laugh.

One of the things I'm finding hard is that Christmas is coming and once again I'm not pregnant yet. I find that sooo hard.
Still..............I am keeping the PMA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smita, how are you? Hows the pregnancy going? When are you due?

HI all!
Mrs M,
Great news on the consultation.. before you know it it'll be the 10th!
Continue the healthy living ladies!

Terri,
I hope your support group is helpful for you.And I'm a a great believer in yoga- its helped me a lot, though havent done any yoga since I conceived as I hd spotting all thru my first tri and was worried that it may increase it or soemthing, and now i'm too scared to start afresh!
Christmas can be hard- I've been thru 6 bad festive years, ppl suddenly seem to think the house shd be full of babies once the festivities begin - they forget to be sensitive at times!
I hopeyou all get your bundles of joy soon..

I'm doing fine thanks for asking girls, due end feb, and praying each day that everything works out well.

Hi Smita and Mrs M

You must be getting excited Smita, Feb will be here before you know it!

Glad your neck and back is feeling better today Mrs M. Wish I could say the same. Woke up with a shocking headache but not sure if it was from my neck or clomid as that gives me a bad headache normally.

Did you get some nice organic food?

I just did some yoga. My dog decided to walk over me while I was lying down. As he was half way across he stopped and did a stretch! I think he wanted to join in.

Yes Walsgrave is coventry.
