Are you ladies all going to have natural birth? Base on my situation, I should have c-section. My doctor going to check my condition in late days and then decide when to perform c-section. That will alter my natural due date. So I don't know if I'm going to deliver at the end of Feb. or early Mar.

Is c-section always performed before the natural due date? Does anyone know? Thanks.

My due date is 8th December but c-section booked for 30th November. I think that all c-sections are performed before due date (usually 38th/39th week) to avoid early labour.

Thanks Caroline. So I'll likely to have a Febuary baby. I can't wait to discuss c-section schedule with my ob, but it's too early now. So you have less than a month to see your baby face to face. How exciting are you while expecting! Good luck to you.

Can you bring my due date forward to 18th November please.

We're not entirely sure when they will carry out the c-section but the consultant wants to get to at least 36 weeks.

Also, I have an appointment on Friday as my swollen ankles have become swollen legs and my BP is a bit on the high side (although they have said it is not pre-eclampsia) and depending on the results of the tests they are carrying out, they may admit me to hospital for complete bed rest.

I'm not sure if this is just until my BP stabilises or if it will be until they carry out the c-section so you may not hear from me until after the birth.
