Is it normal to ovulate from one side?

I have slight PCOS but the docs dont seem to think its that serious. Was wondering tho - when I ovulate I only ever seem to get pains on my right hand side. Does this mean I only ovulate from that side ? Is that normal? Do you think it effects IVF? Thanks guys! Cazx

Caz, its perfectly normal to only ovulate from one side. This will not affect IVF as they stimulate both ovaries with FSH injections. Vicki

hI cAZ, i always had main pains on right side during Iui's and when i was stimulated for IVF the right produced more eggs than the left but none of that matters as long as you get enough eggs! I only got 4 eggs after a threatened abandoned cycle and only 1 was on the left but i've just tested positive so don't worry about it and go for it! Love ADEYXXX
