Extremely Tired On Lupon....anyone else?

Hi,

I have been on Lupron now for four days and I cannot believe how tired I am. 45 minutes after the shot I am dizzy and extremely tired. I take the shot at night and am sleeping 14-16 hours. I also have no energy all day and I am nauseated, and have lost weight (but that is a positive thing :). Has anyone else felt this way - if so please let me know that I am normal. Thanks for your help! :)

Unfortunately I was on a different set of drugs so I can't help you, but I just wanted to wish you loads of luck with the treatment and again say what a special person you are for doing this for your friend.

I'm sure you will get loads of help from the other ladies here.

Yep, I'm experienciing almost the same thing. I am on day 7 of Lupron and am very tired, but starving!!! And I am noticing that my face is breaking out some. The dizziness is pretty bad also - my Dr told me to drink plenty of water.

I am starting lupron today. I wasn't looking forward to it. I hope your side affects go away and wish you the best of luck.

Hi Chrissy and Jkos,


I just wanted to say that Jkos I am glad that I am normal and that we are experiencing the same thing. I am so tired and I think my brain is full of fog! Today I put my expensive anti-wrinkle face cream all over my legs! My brain is in a total fog! Glad that I am experiencing this with someone else. :)

Chrissy - I will be thinking of you today hoping that everything goes well with your lupron shot today. Are you taking it in your stomach or leg? Feel free to email me if you have any questions - hang in there!
