November Buddies

Hi everyone

I am new to this site. I am currently going through my 2nd go at IVF, I had my 8 day scan today I have 8 follies, which is not as many as last time but I do have high FSH so didn't really expect to get a lot. But as someone stated, it only takes one.....!!

I went through IVF in July, I got a POSITIVE, but sadly I miscarried. Anyway the doctor says I may be ready for EC on Friday or Saturday, I am very nervous and scared, therefore thought I would post for some support.

Just a quick one - scan didn't go as planned today and am not feeling good, haven't downregged and have something in the womb - have posted all the details on the general forum to see if anyone has any advice / similar experiences...

Sorry to hear your scan didn't go as planned, it really is hard isn't it.? I do feel for you, do you have to go for another scan.

I have decided to take some time off work just now. I was so tired to-day i slept 3 hrs in the afternoon. So much for early Christmas shopping. AF is being a heavy little

, rather draining....yes........ but so glad to know that i will find out this week what's going on with the tmt.

I've been posting on October buddies but I'm also on your list. Thought I'd update. My EC is tomorrow - sames as yours Kate! After the whole process seemingly dragging it all feels like its happening too fast now. If it wasn't for the stimms which are seriously chilling me out (is puragon slang for cannabis? Gonal F reefer) I would be pretty terrified.
Kate I hope your EC goes well. Good luck and fertility sunshine to everyone else, whatever stage you're at - see you all on the november test dates thread - surreal thought

We are on ICSI programme with Lister Hospital - I am sniffing and jabbing and have day 7 scan this Friday. How many follicles should there be?
We are finding it all very stressful but just keep hoping that luck will be with us

I go for EC on Friday morning, went for my last scan this morning.... only 8 follies, so fingers crossed I get some good quality eggs.....

Last day on stim drugs today.....Which is nice..!!

We're on our 1st ICSI cycle - day 7 scan on Friday - bit nervous about the whole thing - not sure what to expect...........
Any advice would be good!

Good luck Jane and Lucy - hope you get loads of great follicles.

Just to update everyone, following on from the odd 'thing' in my womb found yesterday at my down reg scan, I have now had a call from the clinic to say that the blood test showed only very levels of HCG which confirm I am definately not pregnant and haven't been. So they think what they are seeing is a polyp (a small growth probabaly benign).

I now have to go for a scan next thurs or fri to see if its still there - if so then its a GA op to have a look at it with a telescope and probably remove it (Putting back ICSI for months). If it has miraculously disappeared, then in theory I can progress with this cycle without too much trouble although the clinic have warned me that its unlikely.

I feel so down - I just can't cope with what feels like one blow after the other..........

sammylou, was there hcg? only low levels? Or none at all? Sorry i didnt quite understand.
