for all on 2ww

Post by Kat »

Hi

For everyone, like me, analysing every slight twinge, thought the following found on a couple of websites might be of interest :

The onset and degree of pregnancy symptoms will vary within women. Many women experience them within days of conception, others take a few weeks before pregnancy symptoms kick in and a lucky few feel no discomfort at all.

It is frustrating to realize that many pregnancy symptoms are very similar to those that occur right before menstruating

While implantation cannot usually be felt, some women will experience a small amount of bleeding as their baby completes the 'implantation' process into the thick uterine lining. Because an implantation bleed can happen around 8 to 12 days after ovulation (or about 2 to 6 days before the woman's next period would have been due), it can often be confused with having a 'period' (although an implantation bleed is usually lighter and does not last as long as a normal period). This can make the woman believe she is not pregnant.

Lots of love
Kat xx

Thanks for this.

I have absolutely no idea what to expect. I have been pregnant before, but even then, I don't think theres much to tell between early pregnancy & pre-menstrual symptoms.....and last time i hadn't spent weeks injecting myself with bizarre artificial hormones.

We've just got no way of knowing - and it feels rubbish!!!

Nicki

On my 1st preg i felt sick early.... after implantation bleed. ( i had spotting so i know). At the time i put it down to stress at work and maybe a impending heavy AF. At this point Adam and I were not trying to get preg. I still had amazingly sick feelings until 6.5 wks preg and then i started vomiting.

What meds were you on after IUI? and how are your boobs?

keep the hope and faith alive PMA
