`Does anyone else get hot very easily. I am fine if I am doing nothing, but a short walk in the sun makes me really hot and sweaty and it takes quite a while to cool down once I am back inside.
All the books say not to overheat, but how can I help it?
Sorry Seepi - the British weather makes it almost impossible for anyone in the UK to have any advice for you but maybe someone out there has had a similar problem. Why not try ringing midwife for advice? - I'm sure they would have encountered this before
Good luck, Cherylxx

Hi Seepi!
I was very warm during my pregnancy. This was odd for me since I'm normally the one that gets cold or chilled (my husband is opposite). I nearly froze him out of our house this past summer with the AC =)
When you're pregnant your blood flow increases significantly so many women tend to get hot faster than they would prior to pregnancy. The extra blood flow makes your body warmer. This may be the cause, but double check with your doctor. It never hurts to ask them.
Best of luck to you!
Sincerely,
Kelly

I can really relate to this one - but don't have much advice - I am hot most of the time (the Melbourne weather for the past couple of weeks hasn't helped much), but even at work, where its airconditioned I find I am stripping down to a singlet top when I can.
I am also getting out of breath pretty easily - is this something also affecting you? If I need to walk up a flight of stairs or more than a couple of blocks, I am sweating and panting like crazy, and it takes me ages to cool back down.
I am 25w 6 d, what about you?
