Waiting for 1st scan
Hi All 
We waited nearly an hour before we got in - so long I went and asked what the delay was - thought I was going to have a nervous break down
One baby in there - everything is fine I am now a "normal" person and need to go to my GP. Didn't see the heartbeat because the nurse had the screen the other way and when she turned it round I didn't see much as I burst into tears - they said I am 7w2d today and measured just right for that time
Can't go to GP tomorrow as that is where my work colleagues think I was today - for 2hours
Thanks to everyone for getting me through the last 5 weeks

GOT IT!
Scan went ok and showed one tiny baby with a heartbeat.
Doctor says it measured 7 weeks 4 days, which is the exact dates.
At first he could see nothing, cos my bladder was full. He triued the external scan but too blurry. I had to get dressed, go outside to the bathroom + come back to try again. I've never got dressed/undressed so fast! Anyway - all showed up normal. He says now only 1% chance of anything going wrong. Still feel wierd, but feeling much much better after today.

Seepi - are you being sick - I feel it but not being it YET - did they give you a due date we must be very close because yesterday they said I was 7wks and 2 days

no official due date yet. The next appointment I have is my 12 week scan just before Christmas.
The doctor told me off a bit for having a full bladder - if he keeps us waiting for an hour in the waiting room what does he expect - and an hour is on a good day - he is too busy.
I haven't been sick, but I do feel pretty ordinary. In fact I wake up every day feeling hung over! I seem to be ok in the middle of the day, and feel bad mornings and evenings - with little moments through the day. Eating something dry does seem to help. The other wierd thing I have is that I feel permanently like I want to eat something, but then when I go to the cupboard I don't feel like eating anything that is there.
I have very sore boobs too, and quite a few headaches.
But mostly I just can't stand the waiting - hard to imagine 9 months of this!
I am going to wait until 12 weeks to tell people - what about you?

I felt a bit like I was being told of for having a full bladder - and like you waited an hour - sometimes I wonder why you get an appointment time!!
I feel fine in the mornings and start to go down hill from about 2.30pm onwards I also feel like I need to eat all the time and am trying to stick to fruit as much as possible.
Sounds like we are getting similar syptoms as I have had headaches this past week and very sore boobs - I am feeling sick though - not being YET (fingers crossed that doesn't happen) but I do feel crap most of the time. I told the people at the hospital that I felt crap and they said oh good that is what we like to hear!!!!

I am going to try and wait until 12 weeks if I can - my belly is getting big - the swelling after tmt never went away so will struggle to keep it a secret - people are nosy round here!!
