Dull Ache Feelings in 2ww

Hi All Just need to ask a question, is it normal to experience dull aching feeling in your belly while on the 2ww and still get a positive result. It doesn't feel like period pain but it is a aching pain is this normal? If I had ET on Thursday when would it look and the embies attaching themselves if they are going to (stupid question I know I feel like I am going mad and I am only on day 3) Love Shell xx

hi shell, i know what you mean about dull ache i feel like i`ve been kicked about like i`m bruised rather then cramps,i was told the pessaries have side effects also your body is getting back to normal so that may answer alot about the pain, as for when will you know i don`t think anyone knows my nurse said you could go for the whole 2 weeks with no sign of a period and still get a neg test,she did say that by about sunday the egg should be hatched and start embedding. hope this helps i hate this 2 week wait liz

Hi girls, I've just done my 4th pregnancy test(day11)and it would still appear i am pregnant!!!!!! so here's what my 2ww symptoms were/are and maybe it will help but your minds at rest but everyone is different. I had Et on a WEDs and felt sharp aching on both ovaries till about Sunday. On the Sun/Mon (so about day 6/7 after EC)i had strong period type pains and stomach ache. On the tues,weds i had nothing much except for the odd period type twinge and on Thurs,fri i was convinced it was all over as i had usual period pains and i was very pmt ish moody and tearful. Yesterday i tested positive and i'm still getting twinges and funny tummy feelings. My nibbles were sore even before EC and stayed that way the whole way through and i am convinced my boobs are now more round! A bit fake, page 3 ish!! Anyway this was just me and earlier in my 2ww i was reading everyones symptoms and trying to tick them off but they won't neccessarily match yours so just don't panic, the pains can be the pessaries or implantation(day 5/6) so just take it as it comes. i had awful cramping.and i am pregnant and herd our little ones heart beat this mornen. so hang in there.i also had some bleeding.. becky

Hi Shell How are you feeling now? I know from reading all thiese boards ( when I should be working) that some people get pains some people don't and it doesn't seemt to have any bearing on the final result. You are now in the hardest bit, but also the home straight so hang in there. really good luck xxx

HI All I would just like to thank everyone who replied to my post. Hope everyone is having a good weekend, and getting on OK with there tmt, and anyone who is on the 2ww hope your not pulling your hair out. I had such a terrible nights sleep, I had pains in my stomach so strong I was convinced I had come on my AF so I got up to go to the toilet but nothing (thank god) My boobs just feel so heavy and so hard and I just wish I could take them off and leave them somewhere when I have to walk around cus they just hurt so so much. After last night feeling like I did I got a little upset this morning, DH stroked my tummy before he went to work and I said I don't know, and he said what you mean and I said after the night I have had I thought I was coming on my period and he just looked at me. He said try and stay postive but after those pains its hard but I am trying. Love Shell. xx

Hi everyone. I had E/T this am. they put in 2 embies, both grade 2, both 6 cell. Apparently this is good - means bugger all to me - either it works or it doesn't - im finding myself getting blinded by science and that just gets me into a pickle!! It was so good to read this thread about pains etc. Since Friday (e/c) had a slight discomfort but since this morning when I had the E/T, ive felt really period pain type rumblings. Very worried before, but now, not so bad! Just praying that we get there now! We've named them (bit daft) but I was talking to them on the way back from the hospital, and we felt they should be called something - so, Little Mo and Kat it is!!!!! After the lovely people at our local hospital, the whole way through, found the dr who did the transfer to be a complete tosser. It was a bit of an anti-climax when we came out because that's it now, we just wait! Good luck to all of you on waits and Adey, hope we'll all be joining in your happiness very very soon. Hi Rach You sound just like me I am mad because I keep talking to mine. I had ET on Thursday and had some pains has you know because I have not stopped posting on board, but thats because I just don't want anyone to forget me LOL only kidding they wouldn't anyway. I was quite pleased with my clinic because they put the embies in but before they done it they showed us them on a computer screen. They then was talking to them before they went in. I do feel kind of positive today even though I had a crap night last night. I am going back to work 2morrow but I think that is ok I work in an office anyway so I guess it will do me good to take my mind of it. Hope to hear from you soon. Love Shell. xx
