Our GP never told us we could appeal or that our PCT insists NHS patients use a clinic 70 miles away. (even though the local clinic take NHS patients)
After a lot of argueing we managed to secure funding but now have to go to this other clinic. the thing is that the new clinic is so far away and is not easy to get to. This means whole days off work just for a 15 min appointment and my boss is VERY awkward

We'd love to stay at our first clinic because its nearer and we want to maintain continuity. They are quite positive about the fact that the cycle worked. They suggested we appeal to be allowed to transfer our funding to them and we have also enlisted the aid of our MP.
I know that we have done very well to get funded treatment and am grateful for it.

I'd love any advice.
And to anyone who's been refused funding on the grounds of their partner having a child that they don't see - argue! It sometimes works!
Thanks Yorkie
