Hi all. . . I had a tubal ligation with cauterization 8 years ago and I find myself in a situation where I would like to have another baby but do not wish to "try" to have my tubes fixed. I have researched pros and cons of having that done and was wondering if, in anyone's oppinion, the risks are greater having IVF than having the reversal. I realize there are risks in ANY procedure and they might be more than I wish to go through, but before I make my decission, I would like anyone's experiences or stories or just plain old good advice!! I am 37 and in pretty good shape but I do not want more than just one more child. Please HELP!!!! Thanks all!!!
Hi Drenee,
I had a tubal reversal done almost two years and I had no sucess getting pregnant.
I have started my 1st IVF 9/9/05 and I had my Egg rtvl/ and put back 4 embies all in Oct and I will get my BFP test on Nov 7 at 9:00 am. I have been pleased with the IVF Process.
To answer your question the Tb Rvsl was more painful I stayed in the hospital 3days and it took about 4 weeks to get back to my normal activies.
Hi I am 37 yrs and this is my first IVF cycle. I just had my transfer exactly 7 days ago. I can hardly wait unitl Nov 7, which is my preg test. Looking for buddies to help my anxiety.
