Hi everyone

I had ET on Sunday 6th November, I know it was only yesterday but already I am worrying, I have noticed a slight brown discharge, I didn't notice this on my last cycle so early on. Has anyone experienced anything like this.?

Hi Luby,

I know that when I have smear test ,I do bleed a little bit (well, not blood, but more a discharge)
So I guess it could be the same. After all, ET might be painless, but you still have the doc feedling with your inside...

Wish you the best for the 2ww!! good luck

take care

Hi Luby
When I had ET nurse said she could see a bit of bllod round cervix so may bleed a little and not to worry, I am sure it is just the same for you.

Hi Girls

Thank you for your replys, haven't noticed anymore discharge.......

I also wanted to share with you, that I can't help feeling very stressed, now I know we have to relax as much as possible and not get stressed, but I just feel myself being very stressed inside......so now I'm being paranoid that I'm doing more harm than good by letting myself feel stressed.

Has anyone else felt really stressed out, I know this whole process is very stressful, but after ET we should be happy shouldn't we, hoping and praying for that good news....?

Lucy, sorry to hear you are so stressed out. We all get like that at some time or other. This site is a great help, so keep posting. We are here for your support.
Have you tried any stress relieving techniques? eg massage, yoga, walks etc....Sometimes they sound silly but they can work.

Hang in there. 2ww can be awful but it will pass and you will be fine!

Sending you lots of PMA

Hi Libby,

I am currently on the 2ww, I had ET on Tuesday 1st November, and I am now at the stage where I am getting really parinoid. I can't stop thinking about it so I can't even give you any reassurance or advice, this is my fourth attempt at IVF it certainly doesn't get any easier.

I wish you all the very best.

Hi Lesley

I know what you mean about the paranoia, I seem to be analysing everything little thing.

Very sorry to hear this is your 4th IVF attempt, really hope things work out for you this time.. stay positive.

I will keep everything crossed for you.

2ww and period

Post by water »

Hi all,
I am new here. I have seen many message where people see spotting or bleeding before 2WW is over. Is it normal to have bleeding before 2 WW is over and does the period come at regular time. I had my ET 11days back and I will be going for blood test on saturday that is 2days from now. I have no spotting or blood does that mean I could be pregnant?? I have had severe cramping and backache and nausea feeling. could this be due to progestorone pesseries. Could anyone help me.

Hi Water!
Unfortunately there are no hard or fast rules as we are all different. Some women experience pregnancy/af signs (which are very similar!) and some get no signs at all. Some bleed before the 2ww is over (doesn't neccesarily mean a negative result - some still get a positive) and some do not bleed at all.
Unfortunately it is a very emotional time and it's hard not to get too involved with annalysing every twinge. The only advise I can give you is to keep a positive attitude (V. Hard I know).
Why don't you go over to the general forum - you'll find a thread called 2ww (or similar) where everyone waiting to test is. It is helpful to chat to others going through the same experiences as you.
Good luck!!!!
Cla
