Hello Ladies,
My computer crashed so it has been a few days. It sounds like everyone is doing great. Keep it up!
I had a terrible recovery from the ER last week. I was so scared. When I went in yesterday for the ET they found they had a most terrible case of constipation. What a relief! (Pun intended) hee hee. I could barely walk. I want to share this so that if anyone else goes through it they will know. Apparantly the progesterone and codeine along with the iron in the prenatal vitamins gave me no chance to feel good. I am able to get out of bed on my own now and see that I will feel human again.
We had a blastocyst transfer yesterday. Out of the 11 fertilized we had two make it. The Dr. didn't give me a grade, he just said they were "stellar". That was good for me and my DH. So, now we are on our wait, but because of the blast transfer it is short. We test on the 15th so I will keep you all posted.
OH! Thank you so much for the advice for DH! It helped with the progesterone shots tremendously.
Prayers for all of you every day,

Dawn

Chel, I know what u mean, I find out to day if our cycle is cancelled or not, feeling rather mixed up, half of me say's cool, then we can focus on moving, but other half says bugger never gonna be a mum.

Why r u delayed?

Hope u ladies r all well and tmt is going well for u.

NickiMark-good luck, hope u can proceed with your tmt. Fingers r crossed 4 u.

Chel-sorry to hear w r loosing u on the nov-embies board. Hope u can start again asap. Good luck to u.

d_jar-good luck to u hun, hope the 2 ww goes by really quick and u get a BFP!

Amfy-hope all goes well 4 u 2day. Good luck.

Scarpenter-welcome to the board. Good luck to u. Hopefully it will only take that one cycle to get the bfp that u long for.

Jeni Babes-all the best for your scan today. Hope u got loads of really nice follies.

Washingtonda-How long the tmt takes from start to finish depends entirely on the protocol u r on and how your body responds to the drugs. Good luck to u.

Sorry if I forgot to mention someone. Good luck to all of u brave ladies.

Has someone heard from sammylou? Sammy-hope u r well!!! Image

Well, i didn’t have a great time this last few days on the DR. Gave me really bad headaches. Wasn’t that bad first time round. Never mind. Got my baseline scan and blood test tomorrow and hopefully can start stimming before the weekend.

Take care girls.

Sally and Nicki - good luck with your scans today - fingers corssed for you both.
Lavendar - yes we will be ec buddies !!! positive thoughts to you!
Jeni - good luck, stimms aren't giving me too many side effects yet .. really tired though and can't stay awake past 9pm   , still got the hot flushes but otherwise fien and dandy. I'm going to the gym and doing gentle exercise. My theory is that it'll increase the blood flow to my follies :D
To all other Nov-embies my good wishes with you for a smooth treatment.
Here's to a pile of +ves to end off the year :D :D

My scan is not until tomorrow morning, then have to wait for blood results and phone London to find out if I can start on the Gonal F.

Take care.

sally, i'm curious as to what blood test you have to do before starting gonal f? my clinic did a scan but no bloods before giving me the go ahead to start gonal f. hope it all goes well tomorrow.

Washingtonda! - from your name I would guess you are in the US and as i am in the UK I don't know how much use i am but i will try. For us we had to do baseline tests first to work out what was wrong with us, which took a while. From when we knew we were IVFing we needed about 2 weeks to order and receive our drugs before starting on day 21 of my cycle. From there it was about 5 weeks to where I am now. (ER/ET this week.)

Jeni and Nicki - Pleased to hear that your follies are starting to get their act together. Rememeber you only need one! Good luck with your scans!

Anna and Sally C - thanks for thinking of me. Good luck 2morro Sally.

Chel - the delay must be frustrating but all the best with your new December buddies.

Good news for us today. We had 11 eggs and will know tomorrow morning how many have fertilized. Went very smoothly. The clinic are very pleased with how well i have responded so far so I'm happy.
