I HAVE BEEN TOLD I WILL BE ON PUREGON INSTEAD OF GONAL F DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THERE IS A DIFFRENCE BETWEEN THE TWO? IF THERE ARE ANY ADVANTAGES OR DISADVANTAGES? :? :?:

Hi Ozzie,

I don't know of the differences or adv/disadv, but I was on Puregon. They removed 12 eggs of which 6 fertilized. Apart from the OHSS, the Puregon was very easy & I had no problems or side effects etc.

I used Puregon too 300 IU for 10 days and I had 15 follicles but only 8 contained an egg but all 8 are mature.

I had no side effects with Puregon except I was bloated.

DX-PCOS jan 2002
DH with MF
3 IUIs, 1 pregnancy ending in m/c at 11 weeks (no h/b)
12-2005 IVF
