Hi Cla, My IVF was cancelled due to severe OHSS, now doing a FET. My first 2 AF's came reasonably on time the 3rd however was 10 days late, I came on the day after I did a test, always brings it on

I put it down to the drugs, but like you its strange the first 2 were ok. Hope your feeling ok

Cheers Gail - I was sure it was prob. the drugs but always nice to have some reassurance. I'll just have to be patient! Thing is the longer it stays away, the longer I'll have to wait to start my FET!!!!

Hi Girls,

I'm in too! "Just" 30.

Bit fed up today,

had my first FSH test result back (hoping to do first cycle early next year). It was 8.1. I know it is in the "normal" range but I was hoping for a great score.

We are having treatment for MF (failed vas reversal) so I have never thought about my fertility before.

Gail, can i ask? Did u have to pay for ur cancelled ivf?
apparently we have to pay for the scan still, but the rest is refunded... feeling a tad miffed at this....

Hi Nicki,

With my IVF because I had the EC and they froze the embryos, by doing FET now it still counts as the same cycle, so no refund. However the clinic did tell me that if the cycle had to be cancelled before EC I would have got a part refund but I dont know how much.

Where has your PMA gone, you still have a good chance that your follie will grow, im crossing everything for you and praying that it has. Sending hugs and PMA to you xx

Just feeling low because of a certain so called friend too.....

Can I join this group too?? I'm 31 and am in the middle of my first IVF cycle -- I start stimms on 11/11. Not sure when to anticipate ER and ET?? any one have any idea?

I was 30 this year so I guess I''m in too!

Heh Nicki we were going to have a 30th Birthday party for you on line. We both came off the boards after our yucky time in Aug. Perhaps we should still have one. Cheer up hon but I know what you mean about PMA, we can be positive but quietly positive. It will be ok....

Cla - cycles!!! Tell me about it! My first cycle immediately after IVF came bang on 14 days after profasi. I was told my next cycle should be normal as there would still be drugs in my system - oh no I had to wait until day 54 before my cycle started!!! Crazy business. I think our systems are so messed up with the drugs they don't know what they are doing. I would go to the doctor sooner rather than later if only to put your mind at rest.

Jkos hope you are well. If you are starting stimms on 11th then maybe 10 days after for EC? It will all depend on your ultrasound and estradiol levels. Good luck!

hi jag, u r right, the 30th party never happened..... not only on line but with friends too..... touchy subject friends let me down.... Not happy, one of them annouced she was preg, then all others couldnt get child cover, pissed me big time... more like everyone ignores me coz we are with out children.
Ended up just going out for a meal with my family, had the evening in with dh...OOOhhhh so exciting!!!

Oh well, never mind it's only a day....

great idea for a new thread. i'm 33 so i'd like to join you girls. this is my first ivf cycle and i just started stimming yesterday. i'm hoping to have ER towards the end of next week if all goes well. i had a nightmare last night that my fsh levels had shot through the roof to some ridiculously high level, i guess it's because i'm a bit worried about my 10. so ktf don't worry about 8.1, it's really good.

sorry to hear you're down nicki. i kinda know what you mean about friends with babies. i recently went to my friend's daughter's birthday party and none of the other mothers were interested in talking to me once they heard i wasn't in their club. it's just an extension of the singles hanging out with singles, couples with couples mentality. oh well..... their loss!!
hang on in there. things always get better.
