JUST GOT MY AF...

NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD BE HAPPY ABOUT THAT.
I START THE PATCHES WHEN I HAVE A FLOW, WHICH SHOULD BE TOMORROW. ARE YOU ON A MEDICATED CYCLE?

Mine is medicated, I do daily injections of Buserelin and start taking Progynova tablets on Sunday.

what are the injections for? my protocol is 2 estrogen patches every other day for 19 days, and then transfer.
once they transfer then i have to start taking progesterone shots.....

Hello All:
I'm new to this forum. My daughter had FET on Nov. 1st and now hoping it will take. We are all so stressed out even though we have been through it all before. Motherhood has no logic and you can't give it a talking to. It just craves and longs and cares so much. My daughter's first IVF ended in an ectopic pregnancy and she lost a tube. the second cycle she was pregnant with twins but something was terminally wrong with one baby. We have one beautiful grand daughter who was 2 lbs at birth and is now 14 months. My daughter had four eggs frozen and the first one thawed successfully. On a regular visit to her family doctor yesterday, he took a pregnancy test which was negative but it hadn't even been a week since the transfer. I know it was too early. I sure hate this waiting game. Pray for us.

Is there a list of definitions for the abbreviations everyone uses? I can't figure some of them out. thanks

Hi Marilyn,
There is a thread at the very top of this forum called abbreviations/definitions that has a very comprehensive list of them. I refer to it daily!!!
I hope all goes well for your daughter - how nice to have a family member join this forum.

Hi Ladies,
Well Tomorrow nov 10 is my wedding anniversary and also my first FET. they are going to tx 3 frosties.....i have 7 frozen from my IVF. they tx 3 embies with BFN in august and have done 4 IUI's. Sooooo here we go again. Not getting my hopes up this time...just trying to stay calm and even..the 2 weeks just really kill ya ..ya know! I WILL PRAY FOR YOU. FET'S HAVE BEEN DOING VERY WELL LAST MONTH. I AM SCHEDULED FOR TRANSFER ON NOVEMBER 29TH, AND I WILL TEST 9 DAYS LATER SO I GUESS IT MAY BE A VERY SPECIAL CHRISTMAS.....GOD I PRAY EVERYDAY.

well, they defrosted and tx 3 embies....now 72 hours bed rest and the long wait!!!!! Good luck lisa...i'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

18 DAYS UNTIL MY FET.
GAILP- I THINK WE ARE ON THE SAME SCHEDULE.
BEEN DOING ALOT OF RESEARCH AND THEY SAY THE STATISTICS ARE THE SAME FOR FRESH & FROZEN AS LONG AS THE CLINIC HAS A HIGH THAWING RATE. MY CLINIC JUST WON AN AWARD, SO I AM GRATEFUL FOR THAT. WE HAVE NOT TOLD ANYONE THAT WE ARE SCHEDULED FOR FET ON NOVEMBER 29TH. WE FIGURE IF IT IS A POSITIVE WE CAN TELL EVERYONE AT CHRISTMAS, AND IF IT IS A NEGATIVE THEN I WONT HAVE ANYONE ASKING ANY QUESTIONS....
GOD I PRAY FOR A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE.....
