Yes!
I even had some bleeding at 8 weeks. Went in for more ultrasounds - everything was fine.

Last week (at 11 weeks) had sort of darkish mucus-y discharge (sorry if TMI) - called doctor - went in - heard the heart beat - everthing is fine.

It's totally scary and frustrating that there's sometimes no explanation for it.

Low back pain makes sense because your body is growing and pressing against other parts of your body.

Call your doctor for reassurance - but I am sure it's all fine.

Good Luck!

Jay,
I had spotting daily until i reached 12 weeks..
It was just old blood, but i was really worried.
Why dont you check with your doctor?
Good Luck.

Hi Jay

I had brown discharge on & off between wks 6-8ish but everything was okay. Hope your feeling a bit less worried. I was told by my hospital that it happens ALL the time so not to worry. They didn't even get me in to check me when I called they were so convinced it was okay. I agree with Smita though that if you are woorried then call the hospital - that's what they are there for and they are used to being asked questions. Love Vicky

Hi Jay, how's things? Congratulations on you're twins!!! :D I am around 7.5wks pregnant aswell.
I had a scan on monday and saw two heartbeats too!!! They did say that one of the babies was 'normal' size, but one was very small, so they kind of freaked me out a bit, but I'm hoping that both of my little babies keep on fighting hard... :? :D

I have had a little discharge on and off over the last few weeks, but was told that it was normal as long as it wasn't 'fresh' or heavy.

I have also been having a bit of pain around the scar from surgery that i had last year, but was told that it was also normal, as it was just my womb stretching as it grows.

hi nes

im ok thanks obviously slightly still worries about the discharge and am awaiting a call from my clinic, i will be 8 weeks tomorrow!! yes my scan saw 2 babies and 2 sacs and they seemed to be a good size, i hope your other twin does quickly grow too, but its not uncommon to have one baby smaller than the other anyway.....im getting bad sickness esp at night after my dinner and in the morning, i have nothing left in my stomach in the morning and only water comes out!!! im going to have to start eating again after i vomit in the evening!

how you doing and were you shocked when you found out you were having twins...i was so shocked! still cant believe it....i just hope everything is ok with the discharge my next scan is on next wed...

how you coping with all the symptoms etc? i dont have much other than sickness and tiredness and the sickness only started properly about 3 days ago!!

Hi Jay, How's things?

I am doing ok.... just watching my pot-belly getting bigger! :D I am a little shocked about the twins, but to be honest, I was kind of hoping for two! So I feel more than blessed to have gotten my wish. I just hope that my little babe hangs on along with the bigger one.

I have my next scan next thursday, and I am hoping that my little ones will surprise me and daddy ( dp couldn't make the last scan ) by having grown lots and that both wave back and say hi!!!

I haven't been sick... yet! but I am trying so hard not to!!! I have felt really sick and queasy over the last two days, but I just keep saying to my bump, don't you think of starting now, not when I'm so close to passing the morning sickness stage!!!
some how, I don't think that I will last much longer though!!!

take care,
