Clomid

Hey Nicki,
Just wanted to put in my 2 cents!! I was on Clomid for two cycles, 50 milligram pills. I took it day 5 through 9 then started ovulation tests shortly there after. My only problem with infertility was ovulating and releasing my eggs so the Clomid did the trick perfectly for me. I really think my first cycle in July didn't work because my body wasn't used to ovulating and I was adjusting, but the second time everything went perfect. I also think that the insemination time helped the second time (we'll never know though). My first, I surged on a weekday and went in that morning, but the second I surged on Saturday night/Sunday morning but my clinic is closed weekends so had insemination on that Monday. Anyway, I don't recall any side effects, I was a bit emotional and moody but I'm not sure if it was the Clomid or just the stress of the treatment. I also was not told specifically to drink lots of water but I did anyway.
The only warnings I was told about was that I couldn't take it for more then like 6 months/cycles because of the higher risk for cancer (ovarian I think) and that because it stimulates your ovaries to produce more eggs, there was a higher risk for multiples.
