Hi Gel - welcome to the board - and good luck with your er next week.

Blast! Er Monday not Friday ... Guess my consultant know what he's doing. Another scan on friday and blood test. I'm running out of clothes to fit me my stomach is so swollen and uncomfortable but I'm not complaining - it means more follies might be good sized so more chances. Here's hoping and if you hear a big pop then its my tummy with all the follies

Thank you. I have been reading through past posts, and you are all so incrediblu supportive and nice.
As of yesterday's scan (day 5 on stims), I have 12 follicles growing, but only 3 are greater than 10 mm. They tell me that this is ok, but not great. My est is 125, whatever that means! I wish the staff at my fertility center was a bit nicer or more sensitive. THey have me thinking that I'm responding poorly, when they could handle it so much better with some positive news like "it only takes one!" or something along those lines. Anyway, I have another ultrasound and blood tomorrow morning, so maybe things will look better? I hope so. Nice to be among you all. Gel

Gel, Don't be disheartened by your clinics lack of bedside manner - 9 follies is good and YOU'RE RIGHT .... it only takes one !!!!!

Sending the follie fairy over for a visit to get those follies growing and good luck with your treatment. November is turning into a real busy month here

Nothing much happening here at the mo. 3rd day on the gonal f and I am feeling a little uncomfortable. Have been on my own for the last 10 days but hubby is coming back 2 morrow

My next blood test is on Friday and I then will be told if I have to turn up in London on Monday or Wednesday. Unfortunately I haven’t got a notebook so will not be able to keep track of u lovely ladies. Will try and pop in at every opportunity though, promised.

Hope to see a few of u in the chat 2night (around 7 uk time)?

I think somethings wrong......this am took another test....only a faint pink line......I called my clinic aand they said they wont test until the 21st. I told them my concerns and asked if they can check my progesterone levels and stuff, they said the don't do that......why would the line Fad from yesterday to today....Am I losing it...........

hey Penny good news, wont be test buddies then, I reckon we'll be on for ET end Nov, depends on the embies...just praying we do better than in Barcelona...we are in Kiev from 20-30 November to allow for all eventualities. Oh to be cycling with my own eggs up the road.....

Dh's TESE samples are stuck in Kiev customs

All went well today with cyst drain and I feel fine! Am still taking tomorrow off work though! The operating theatre had a problem with the heating so it took several rather painfull attempts for them to find a vein for sedative...but I don't care!!! Have never got this far before, am hoping my follies do their thing

Hi Want2b look sweetie, I drove myself CRACKERS when I was pg, and each test looked different, and I had the same make and everything. Then I researched it. In the end they do vary even in the same packet!!!!! what matters is there is a line, and if you've tested early then that's a good sign (unless there's a chance of HCG contamination from your shots??????????????) and that's why your clinic wants to wait???

I've been checking the boards for awhile now (all the information is so helpful!) but have never posted before. We were diagnosed with severe male factor and our first IVF/ICSI attempt in August/September ended with a -ive. We were optimistically hopeful it would work because it was the only way I could get through all those dreaded shots (I hate needles, I am the biggest baby!)

But we're starting our second treatment....with a new shorter protocol (no Lupron this time, straight to the Gonal-F with Cetrotide) and we start stimming on Friday 11/18 and first ultrasound/blood scheduled for Tuesday 11/22...and while I'm not quite as fearful of the shots anymore, I am now very aware that it could possibly end in a -ive again. I'm still trying to be optimistically hopeful, but I thought maybe I would join for some support and hopefully to give some support too!

The only meds I am taking this month are estrace and progesterone shots...........I am so afraid of believing Im pregnant because now I fear Miscarriage again, thought the faded line meant a decrease in hcg from yesterday. I really appreciate your replies and support, i am just going crazy.......
