I have just a quick post...I Won't be on the boards tonght. DF and i are going for a meal and night out with friends before the BIG midnight starvation. It's water that i will miss most especially friday morning. Anyway i am NOT complaining just taking it step by step and waiting for a good result . fingers and everyithing X'ed

I am just waiting for my AF to start my cycle. It will be here around the 25th.

Hello Decembies - hope you don't mind if I join you? I go for my ET tomorrow so my test date is 3rd Dec - can't believe I actually have a date after all this time!!! Started on 16th October. This is my 2nd IVF and haven't been around that much since the last one failed on 27th March

Anyway I've wrote my letter to Santa and asked him for an early present so heres hoping!

Little P I see that you got a BFP in June congrats! I remember you were about during my last IVF. It's nice to see that there's plenty of BFP for November - hopefully December will follow suit.

Hi

I am new to this site and admit I am a chat room virgin. I have been reading different threads over a number of months and have been comforted to know my feelings am normal! THANKS!

My DH and I have been TTC for just under 3 yrs. After going of the pill AF did not arrive and after 6 mths was diagnosed with PCOS and while having a laproscopy to pop the cysts the Dr found severe endo. We were devastated. We had 6 cycles on clomid and after not responding after the second clomid cycle had another laproscopy to clear up the endo.

In June 04 we started our first IVF cycle and retrieved 8 eggs. We did have a BFP in June 05 but at ultrasound we found it was a blighted ovum and we opted for a D & C. Last cycle we had a FET with 2 blastocysts with a BFN with debilitating pain when AF arrived (due to endo).

Cutting a long story short, we are just about to start IVF no. 5 - fully stim. My BT is next Wed and start the injections on Sat.

We are starting to get nervous as the Dr and nurses at the clinic are starting to look at us with that 'I am so sorry' look. At our last appointment they told us that our file was getting too fat and while we weren't the fattest we were getting there. Scary!

I know that there are people worse off, but it is really freaking us out at the moment. I am going to acupunture and that is helping, although the acupuncturist is against me flying anywhere. After the BFN we had to fly OS for DH work and flew back the day of the ultrasound to find it was a blighted ovum. The acupuncturist associates this with the flying... However the ultrasound report showed that it had stopped developing before we left.

They are reducing the FSH this time as the last two times I have overstimulated and that had to do an EC and a freeze all. We just hope we get a few good quality eggs.

Anyway we have the EC on the Fri 9th of Dec and the transfer on either the Mon 12th or Wed 14th depending on how many embies we have. We'll go on the 12th if we don't have too many and on the 14th if we have enough to try for a blastocyst again. We'll have to do a HPT on Boxing Day (26 Dec) as our clinic is closed.

My family know the story and one close couple but that's it. I would probably loose my job if my work found out.

I feel like I have just exploded, and sorry if it sounds negative. Every cycle I have a PMA but occassionally - like now - I freak out.

Anyway - thanks heaps. I would like to join the Dec buddies! I think it would be great... not sure how to do it but would appreciate if somebody could...

bring on AF....

ER went okay for me. Just very tired

and sicky feeling nauseus but not lsick. So stayed in bed all last night and rested. I had 5 follies but only 2 follies the right size on the day and got 2 eggs from them.

Phoning clinic today to find out how many have fertilized....bring on the Fertilization fairy

. Just gonna rest up most of today but will update you if any news. Hope ET on monday 21st 2.15pm. Fingers crossed xx

I have an update.....i have 2 little embies being put back in on Monday @ new time of 12.15.... woo Hooo...test date approx 5th dec.....fingers crossed....

Smita ( the wise) has informed me that after ET it's best not to be near a computer. I didn't know this!!! What i do want to know is how long for!??

naba - welcome and good luck with your upcoming cycle. There is alot of ladies out here that have gone through very similar. It is nice to know that you are not alone. Crossing everything that your scan shows good and it is ready for the injections. PMA to you.

Jeni - I am soo happy to hear that your ER went good and that you are scheduled for your ET on Monday!!! Grow embies grow!!!

hang in there!! We all have our ups and lows and moods, I hope you feel better on sunday!
Why dont u go out for a movie with dh?may calm you down- and maybe a lovely lunch/dinner afterwards..
