Hi everyone,

I wondered if I could join you?
I had a BFP on October 24 and I'm waiting for my first scan on Nov 15 - really can't wait!
I'm apprehensive though, I just want to make sure everything's okay. Waiting for the scan is almost like the 2ww (not as bad though!)
I'm still waiting for morning sickness to creep up on me - I've felt a bit queasy and kitchen smells have knocked me out on occasions, but apart from that, very sore boobs and that hungover exhausted feeling in a morning, I'm doing well! I just pray that everything's okay on Tuesday.
Hope everyone else is doing okay, glad for this thread it feels better that going over to the other side at this stage :)

This waiting is never ending!!!!!!!!!!! seems like one hurdle after another - but we are so pleased we have got this far - I just hope one shows up on the scan - keep thinking it has changed its mind..........and didn't like us after all.................PMA PMA PMA!!

My DH is away next week - good timing !!! And his birthday too!....So my friend has offered to come in with me, to keep me company.........

He was away for my EC too - well he came in with me and then left !.........Anyone else have a hubby like this!!!!!!!!!!!! :lol:

Hello again!....

I can't believe it - still in shock - but there it is.............TWINS........ :!:

Went for scan yesterday - with my mother ! as my hubby was still away .........and it's TWINS :D :D :D :shock:

We found it was quite a shock at first! :shock: but we are coming to terms with it now.

TTC 6yrs......Have jumped off the rollercoaster for now, too many BFN's and too much heartache, to keep going....Moving on to fulfil other dreams!!!

Hi all - good luck with first scans - it's a very tense time - probably worse than 2ww because you are so close and yet not quite confirmed. Just remember that the vast majority of scans will be successful and this is the start of a wonderful adventure. I tried to hug my consultant with gratitude at my pregnancy test but he backed away and said 'let's just wait to see if there's anything on the scan' - misery guts - I didn't bother hugging him at my actual scan because he'd pi**ed on my chips before!! I think you should celebrate getting this far and if you want to move to 'pregnant' thread do it - we don't get many moments like this and lets face it - right now you are all pregnant - well done and enjoy every second of it,

Hi again!.......

Leigh - I suppose I was rather worried the few days before the scan - I couldn't feel much - and I had had/still have! a few minor colds/sneezing - so I thought that perhaps it had gone away :? ........as you can see - it can be quite the opposite :!: ............ :D

Thats it at the clinic for now - just have to see my GP and then he will arrange the rest.... quite strange really - not to have to go to the clinic again before xmas - fingers crossed...

Not really feeling sick - just queasy (have been lucky so far)- definitely feels better after I have eaten something - toast is good...and I have to have my daily fruit fix too! Feel so hungry all the time!!!! Fresh air is good too.

Keeping my fingers crossed for you that all goes well!......... SJ x

Hi Ladies

I'm new to this thread, got my BFP on 18th Nov, but had low HCG, so since then I've been having monitored so didn't feel ready to post over here until today, my levels have been doubling every 48 hours so thats good, doctor doesn't want to another one now but did say it's still early days (not sure how to take that) my level today was 170..

Anyway my 1st scan is on 2nd Dec, I am very nervous, but also excited. I just want everything to be OK..... Not sure which is worse, the 2ww or waiting for your 1st scan..!

It is nice to know you are not going through this alone though..!
