I'm well - thanks. Feeling pretty exhausted after our trip to China - very intensive but very worthwhile. I'm just waiting for AF then all being well will do a natural FET end Nov. All depends on when AF arrives - if more than a week late that puts any test date into late Dec when I'm supposed to be flying to Italy and we made the decision that we didn't want me flying this time whilst on the 2WW (like we did last time). Whilst the clinic say it's fine, and I know lots of people do fly, my acu guy is strongly against it and I just don't want to do anything that I might later think caused another -ve. So if AF comes late (the jet lag has shot my BBTs to pieces so no idea when or if I ovulated) then I'll postpone until January. Unfortunately I may be an egg-producing machine but the buggers just don't seem to want to stick!

Anyway - hope Kiev goes well for you and DH!

Well ladies

I had my last midwife visit today and she surprised me by telling me that she has changed her rota to ensure that she is with me for my delivery - I was so touched that I desolved into floods of tears.

We (DH) has completed all the decorating needed to welcome our new arrival. We have taken delivery/bought all that we feel necessary for the 1st few weeks - nursery furniture will be delivered and assembled week after baby comes home.

I have resisted buying a rocking chair as the house is full of comfortable furniture and I could not justify buying more, both in terms of cost and space available.

I have slowed down considerably and it takes ages to get out of bed, washed and dressed each morning - but I am making the most of this quiet time as I know things will change VERY soon.

Having said that, next week is fully booked with lunches, hair cut and colour, waxing, pedicure, breast feeding bra fitting, Xmas card writing, shopping and pre op appointment at hosiptal for form filling and final checks - where did I have time to work!

Thanks once again for letting me post here.

Randolphrandolph! I am so sorry if I sounded insensitive. I do thank my lucky stars every day and I know how fortunate I am to have got this far.

I'm back at work now and it is feeling better to be honest. It not only makes the time pass more quickly, it helps me to picture my life if this doesn't work as being OK. When I was at home, I just cried every time I thought it might not work and was getting very depressed. Work kind of reminds me that life goes on.

The only thing is, that the more I try to take it easy, the more frantic and chaotic work gets! Its the kind of job you have very little control over. It's really hard to remember not to run around when we're busy, and not to get involved with our difficult customers.

Oh Jeni - Congrats on your embies! I'll be thinking of you on Monday, it's such a special time.

Kat - you'll be on the other side before you know it, but keep in touch like Caroline, we'll want to hear all your news.

I'm feeling better now that I'm back at work despite it being terrifyingly busy, it is really hard to stay slowed down.

I've had a nice day today as my step dad came to help the DP with some electrical stuff and I got to spend the day with my mum. She bought me a lovely present, 3 tiny crystal "guardian angels" in a little cream trunk. On the front it says

"These Angels are the Guardians of your Heart.
Give them your worries and your fears
So Peace and Joy can start.
Keep them always by your side
And know how much they care
For when you need Love and Hope
Your Angels will be there"

She rememebered that I said that feng shui says that when you want a baby you should group things in 3s (When you are single and seeking a partner you should group things in 2s). All of the photo in my house are in groups of 3, so is everything in the bathroom - toothbrushes, and little groups of various aerosols and roll ons! NOw I also have 3 guardian angels.

Amfy-
what a beautiful and special gift your Mum gave you. My heart just filled up when i ead the poem....I have now put evertthing in groups of three in my house. Many pics were already in that configuration but have moved stuff on my drssing table to have same grouping.

Jooles good luck sending you loads of love and BABY DUST..

A big hi to everyone else....

I am on my way for ET today so will catch ya all on Thursaday after some days rest. I am so excited to get this far but am so filled with trepidation. doing relaxation and visualisation....

Loving hugs

Hi Ladies, hope you all had a good weekend. Just thought I'd catch up on everyone's news.

Lovely to hear from you Kat.Hope you are well and taking care of yourself and your little precious cargo :D Good luck for the 28th.

Amfy, not long now. Hope you are Ok....counting down the days.

Heather how are you? Are you having tmt at the mo?

Me, well I am stimming away not really sure how I feel. As everyone does I am analysing every twinge hoping something is going on!

Anyone got any ideas about dealing with a boss who can't keep her mouth shut? We have kept our tmt very private and haven't even told familiy or close friends.
I went for my cyst drain last Wed. I told my boss that I needed a couple of days off work as I had a girlie problem and was having a minor operation. I haven't had any time of work in 8yrs of working for her and I think she was very worried about me. BUT....I got back on Wed to a basket of flowers and a get well soon card signed by all the staff! To top it all one of the staff knows a friend of mine so word got round and I recieved loads of texts from worried friends!
I know she meant well but now my private business is all over the staff room and I have lied to friends too. :(
Now how shall I keep ER and ET quiet as I need some more time off work for that? Answers on a postcard please.

Sorry had a bit of a rant there

Thanks for listening

Take care all
Here's little angel to watch over us

Hi All,
Just passing on a link to a well-written article in my clinic's monthly newsletter. Please forgive if you find it remedial. I need to hear and read this stuff over and over to retain it all.
