Hi Helen
Just wanted to say thanks for your positve message under the NK heading. You are right, it really does help to have the support of you girls. It will be interesting to see what your consultant says about the NK test. Best of luck with the chromosome test too, you get the results soon don't you?
It's good to hear positive stories about people who have had lots of gos. I just know I am not ready to give up yet so I must fight on for another while at least. One of DH's client's had 10 trys (amazing is n't it) and eventually had a little boy. She tried again for a 2nd child and managed first go!!. I suppose the way I look at it is at least if it does n't work out I won't have any regrets because I will have given it everything I can.

Your Bliss sounds adoreable. We had Labs when I was little (Golden ones though). They are fantastic but I do remember them digging up the garden etc when they were small, they grow out of it though. What a handful but worth every minute. Oscar is a Westie, small dog but big attitude. He is a fantastic friend to me. I feel like we are like a family, the three of us. He is even more special because 2 years ago he was diagnosed with prostrae cancer and they told us he had two months to live. Well, as you can imagaine I was broken hearted as was DH. This all happened in the middle of an ICSI cylce too...horrible, horrible time. Anyway, he is still really well. Very active and happy we think the growth just stopped no medication or anything. He is incredibly spoiled of course but then that's part of the fun. Well, I won't go on and on about my doggy, God knows what I will be like if I ever get a baby. Hopefully not one of those baby bores who drive you mad!! Thanks again for your positivity and let me know how all those tests go. I will let you know about my NKs when I do the test. Love. Gracex

Hi Grace

Sorry I haven't replied to you before, I saw the message yesterday and have just found it on the second page!

So nice of you to post me!

I rang the hospital about the chromosone tests and they will be another 3 weeks yet - grwoing somehting in the blood???? Sounds horrendous! I asked about the NK test and they haven't heard of it, so I need to 'phone the LGI, which is where I have my EC and ET to see if they have heard of it. If not, I guess I will have to ring around the other hospitals?

I think that you have to have as many gos as you can - taking into account finance and all that and your mental state. I too, am not ready to give up after 3 goes and we think we can get the money together to have another 3 at least - let's hope we won't need them and you and I will both be pg on our next turn. Then we can compare pg notes and bumps on the "other side"

Stay +ive honey, out time will come, you've got to keep believing that and wish it so hard that it will work.

I think I can remember you telling me about Oscar before, he sounds fab! Bliss is now at puppy training classes and she is doing really well. We have taught her at home as well, so that's helping. The only thing she is not really good at is walking to heel, but then she is only 4 months old and is so nosey!!!

Well, better go do some work, have a good day and hope to speak to you really soon.

Lots of love
Helen.
xx
