Hi girls have been away for a bit ,my treatment was a bit delayed as i had a big cyst from the DR drugs but all is going ok now i had my ER on fri the got 12 eggs but im donating half of them so i really only get 6, the clinic called me today to say that 2 were looking good and that maybe the others will be ok to be frozen, I have my ET on monday at 7 o'clock so im resting all weekend I thought more would have fertilzed but he did say they may be ok by monday. Im starting to freak out now what dh and i have wanted for 4 years now is the closest its ever been and it just feels so surreal

Your first time this far? Well me too but as a little bit ahead of you I should tell you that it is amazingly straightforward and quick! It's probably the most worry free part of the entire process (cos lets face it, if this works we'll be worrying for the rest of our lives!) So try to enjoy it. I thought it was very special. I will be thinking about you.

Jen - Great news on baby embies ! - You must be thrilled. I hope all goes to plan for you tomorrow. You need to spend as much time resting during at least the first 3 days after ET. That means horizontal, so your pc is out. We'll know if you're being naughty !

I have been spending my weekend resting and ( a la Zita's advice) 'talking' to my womb lining in preparation for my 2 embies and their bedding in. Sounds a bit barmy but i feel really good about it.

I am feeling sick.... not that I want to be sick, just have that sicky feelin, and wind like you wouldn't believe!!!

I mustn't read too much into this, parhaps it's just last nights dinner, but hey maybe??

7 days til i test.....dont think sickness would happen this early......

feeling very happy right now, so that good....no doubts at all, hope i am not being to positve... the bang might hurt!! it did last time!

we are just going out now, for a lovely sunday morning walk round the town, need to keep on top of the exercise still, then we will splodge in front on tv this afternoon and this evening!!

Hi Jen .. Yes, he's still off the ciggies. Even better than that, he's not had any alcohol for around the same length of time - and has been off caffeine and sugar for about 2 weeks. He's currently on day 2 of Zita's 4 day detox (and is as miserable as sin) ... (is this the same man that I fell in love with ....?) ....

day 3-4 on the detox is the worst then by day 7 you thinking about doing 10 days!!!!

Adam went on the detox with me the end of Oct 14 days before we started this cycle. He lost so much weight and has been telling all his mates about this fab 7 day detox. He still is buying organic and doesn't eat bread or have caffine. I AM AMAZED. It is so much easier if we BOTH eat healthily....

ZITA is the WISEST WOMAN...i can't wait to read her preg and birth book. I won't temp fate and buy it before i get a BFP tho...so here's hoping we all get to read it soon.!!!

Hi Jen .. Yes, Jan - all beng well (with super healthy spermies hopefully !). It's only the 4 day detox he's doing ... I think if I'd said it was a 7 day-er, he wouldn't have contemplated it. Maybe spring that one on him later ... I'm not doing it with him, but have been eating some of the stuff .. I concocted this mush for lunch today. It actually tasted much better than it looked - thank goodness ! Adam actually lost weight with the detox ? Wow - that's promising.

Tell you what Jen ... Why don't you check on Amazon if they've Zita's book in stock .... It won't be long before you need it. Lots and lots of PMA !!!

Update. Had my IUI done today. It was painless. My 2ww now begins. I test on Dec. 3rd. Woohoo!!!
